Milkshakes--The Best & The Worst

I'll have to ask at POP if the milkshake is on the dining plan as a snack credit... that would be great!!! :lovestruc

Only milkshake Ive had in WDW was the pb&j at PT, I liked it so much I make it here at home as well.

I really like the Whispering Canyon Strawberry milkshakes. But just to be clear, they are artificially flavored. So if you don't like "Syrupy" milk shakes, that might be a problem. I have a picture of them, but I haven't got it uploaded yet, and I'm not at my computer. I'll try to get it up soon.

The milkshake that I didn't like was Sci-Fi Dine-In's oreo milkshake. I see a lot of compliments for it here, but for me, it just wasn't very good. Maybe I was just expecting an actual cookies and cream shake, but for whatever reason, this shake disappointed me. It was really just a chocolate shake with cookie crumbs on top. And just on top.

Thanks for sharing your pic!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Wilderness Lodge at Whispering Canyon....endless milkshakes for one price.....I sacrifice quanitity over alittle quality but they we great....waitress brought one after another....had 3.....filled me up and then gave me a "roadie"......one for the road......to me a milkshake is just chocolate and ice cream and milk...not all that other goop people throw in......

Haven't read all the postings here so maybe it was already mentioned, but the shakes at Tamu Tamu @ AK are really more soft serve ice cream. They are thick in consistancy. I actually prefer soft serve ice cream to hard so this was ok with me but took me by surprise a little. They are a good use of a snack credit, by the way.

We did try Tamu and enjoyed the soft serve. It was light and refreshing when it was sooooooooooo hot outside:goodvibes:goodvibes

Keep these reports coming....gives us something new to try everytime we go to Disney:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

For some reason, I could read about Milkshakes all day long.

Thanks for the great information!

I would never have found some of these. We usually go for ice cream, great alternatives! :thumbsup2

Does anyone happen to know if Disney has specialty milkshakes for Halloween:scared1::scared1: and Christmas:santa::santa::santa:

A little late on the response, but I don't recall there being anything for Christmas in 2010. Granted, I was there in November, but all of the other Christmas stuff was out (Including the party), so I doubt it came in later. It is possible that it was in limited areas, though. I would be more interested in Halloween special shakes than Christmas, anyway. Not a big fan of the Mints and other assorted oddities of flavors that come along with the hohoho holiday.
