Milk in scrambled, and water in omelets. The water will make the omelet more lighter and fluffier. Milk will make them a bit denser.

I typically put milk in scrambled eggs, but not omelettes. I really don’t know why; just have always done it this way.

I like them either way.

I grew up putting a bit of milk in, just because that's what my dad always did.

Now I make them without, because DS likes them very dry.

I always add a splash of milk. And I love IHOP's eggs with the pancake batter. Too bad the one around here is always so darn packed! I rarely ever get to have them.

This sounds gross but it makes the best, fluffiest scrambled eggs ever, adding a spoonful of cottage cheese!

My grandpa used to live with us and he always made us scrambled eggs or omelettes with milk or cream. I have been doing that way ever since. He was a short order cook so maybe that's why he did it that way. I just know I like them that way.

Ok if have to come clean I cook eggs for family but I will never eat them. I find them disgusting they make me gag.

My husband is the same way....won't touch an egg in egg form. He will eat baked goods that contain eggs of course but never an egg by itself. Makes him gag. He will make for them for the family though.

I am like that with Jello.....makes be gag.

Lol!!! Yeah Jello is kinda gross. My DH loves eggs. He makes one that involves a hole in bread & dropping an egg in the hole before cooking. I have to leave the room.

DH adds milk but I generally don’t add anything, maybe a splash of water.

I’ve done it with and without. Only have vanilla soy these days not adding that to not eggs. In fact can’t remember the last time I’ve made eggs.

I’ve never made eggs without milk. Never occurred to me.

On my FB page some interesting comments. One person put it ......"those of us who grew up in poor house holds always add milk to eggs to stretch them further"

A couple chefs said the first tests they had when apply for restaurants was cooking fluffy scrambled eggs without adding anything. They both added that it is common to add cream to scrambled eggs at buffets to prevent the eggs from turning green. Guess Dr. Seuss would be okay with green eggs though!

I don't eat scrambled eggs. I do almost always add milk when I make them for my family. Maybe I will stop.
