I figure since we'll have the capability to make food in our Studio, we might as well save some money by not eating every meal at the parks.

We won't have a car and we'll be using ME, so stopping for groceries is out of the question. I'll probably end up using netgrocer.com, since their delivery rates are half that of wegoshop.com and I'll know exactly what i'm getting and what i'm paying.

Anyhow.. netgrocer only carries Parmalat "shelf stable" milk. While i'm sure it's every bit as good as non-proccesed, i'll keep my plain old moo-juice, thank you. I assume yes, but does the general store @ OKW have 1\2 or 1 gallon jugs of milk available?

To answer your question, yes, the store carries "real" milk. Offhand, I can't remember what size containers they have (I know they don't have gallons, and can't remember if there are 1/2 gallons or if quarts are the largest).

Have you checked into using "Wegoshop.com" instead of netgrocer? We used them recently and were able to get a quart of "real" skim milk. I am pretty sure they shopped at Publix.

However, don't count out Parmalat. The milk is the same, it's just the packaging that's different. I buy a box of it every winter "just in case" (since in Atlanta, 1/4 inch of ice or snow is enough to empty the grocery stores :rotfl: ); we use it one way or another every year and no one has noticed anything different yet! ;)

I looked at wegoshop, but their delivery fee is over twice that of netgrocer, especially since we'll only be spending ~40-50. It's just the two of us and we eat light to begin with.

I figure i'll just get everything from netgrocer and get the milk myself at the GS.

the different is that www.wegoshop.com - will deliver fresh foods - milk, eggs, lettuce, fruits - I don't think netgrocer will. they can't.

wegoshop is a local couple that buys the food where you tell them and delivers when and where you want it.

netgrocer is an internet service that just delivers the food you order to the resort. no fresh food can be delivey this way.

They sell "fresh" milk and other basic grocery stuff but the prices are very expensive. If you can manage a stop at a Publix or similar on route you'd be better off. Another option is to visit one of the Hess gas stations on property - they carry a good selection of items and are cheaper than the resort shops.
