So last year we purchased the Disney Military tickets and used them but my husband was there to activate them from the get go, this year I will be going down a little earlier and I'm thinking of activating our tickets...

So my questions are this: Can I just activate all 6 of our six tickets or just the 2 for me and my son? If I can activate all 6 what info do I need to do this?? Since I'm the Military Spouse and I have an id will I need anything else to activate our tickets? How about if my husband is in the National Guard?

Thanks

Ps I also read somewhere that they might be extending the dates on the Military tickets does anyone know if they decided to do this?

I was under the impression that the military salute tickets had to be bought by July 31 and used by a specific day in September. Remember you had so many days to use tickets after activation. You can't buy the tickets and then activate but don't use until 40 days later.

Yes I do understand that, I am arriving in Disney only a day ahead of my husband and rest of our familyand I thought if it was easier if I activated the tickets then the next morning when its time to go to the parks we will not have to stop and activate our tickets because I would of already done it..

Oh I'm sorry I misunderstood. I haven't seen the tickets lately but it used to be that each person had to do the finger scan thingy for their individual ticket. I don't know if that is the case now.

You shouldn't need anything more than your ID to purchase the tickets though.

Anyone activate and use their Military tickets recently? Looking for info..

thanks

You can buy and/or activate all 6 tickets with your spouse ID. I did so in June. You need your ID and the names of the people who will get each ticket. You can activate them anytime and use them anytime before the expiration date of 9/30. Salute tickets do not have the 14 days til expiration rule. They just expire on 9/30. Whether you use them in 4 days or once a week doesn't matter.

regards

As long as you have a current DD173 that indicates Spouse (or Unremarried Widow) in the Relationship field you cn activate the tickets.

I think you have to buy the tickets before 8/30. You can activate and use them until 9/30.
