Military Tickets/MB/Offsite

If we get park hoppers through our military base and are staying offsite, can we still use magic bands and make fastpass reservations? Any info I can get on military tickets, especially if you stayed offsite, would greatly be appreciated.

All tickets can get FP+, once you purchase the tickets, you link the ticket media in My Disney Experience. Since you are staying off property, you will be able to book your fast passes at 30 day out, and will have to book each day seperately or wait until you are inside the 30 day window so that all your days are 30 days. Also, you can only book 7 days at a time, so if you are staying 10 days you will have to use the first 3 days before you can book FP for the remaining days. You will not get magic bands, though you can purchase them in the park, they are approx $13 each. But the bands are not required to use FP+

We bought our Military tickets last week and had them added to our plans. I had to call to get them added because the number on the back was longer than the on line system would take. The CM on the phone was wonderful. I booked our FP's yesterday with no problem.
