Hi, we will be visiting Universal Studios and IOA at the end of July. My hubby is full time active duty military so we are eligible for discounted tickets.Does anyone know if we can purchase Express Pass with this type of ticket? Thanks, Joan

Hi, I also am purchasing the military tickets.... but we are staying at the rph/ which gives us hotl........ I think, and I may be wrong, if so, someone will correct me, that the express pass for rides is TOTALLY seperate, and therefore you'd have to still pay for it....... I believe it cost 20.00 per book, and you get one head of the line ticket for each ride.....ONCE!!!! I guess you'd have to check when you are going, what the crowds are like, and if you think it's worth it? Again, I'm not positive, perhaps you can call Univ. and ask them directly.

Thanks Wendypooh for the reply. I was thinking I should call too.Any idea exactly WHO I should call?? I also looked at the Kodak Camera today that comes with some type of ticket good for Express Passes at the parks, but it says on the box you need a full price admission ticket. I would also like to ask about these being used with Military Passes? Any input is appreciated, Joan

Joan,

Call the Universal Orlando number: 1-888-322-5541, option 1, for theme park ticket info.

Joan, as for the camera thing..... I saw on another post that the ticket it comes with is for 5 hotl passes to the "best rides".... so, I'm assuming it's not as good as the book you can purchase??? I don't know, you'd have to really look into it. Good Luck!!

For you all - I just got off of the phone with Universal Vacations. They WILL make hotel ressies without including price of ticket so that you can get the good deal on the tickets. The reason this can be a good idea: You can also get free Citywalk party passes and 1/2 hour early admission on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday, plus (depending on length of stay) possibly free passes for Wet and Wild plus..... you get the idea. I would recommend calling them direct - they will give you specifics based on what your needs are. You can call them at 877-688-8005, or go online at www.universalstudiosvacations.com (but I warn you - not a very user friendly site! Goes slow and is hard to find specifics)

As to the express passes thing - I have gotten three different answers from three different Universal employees. I think I am just going to try to use the Kodak deal and see if it works!

Hope this helps some of you !
