Here is our problem, we have a party of eight. Four of us just need four day park hoppers so that is easy, the military tics cover them. Three others need six day hoppers and one needs a five day hopper. Can I pay to add days on to my last two military tics and just buy the five day hopper out of pocket? Would it be cheaper to get the five day hopper at the Disney Store before we leave? Tks!!

You cannot "add" days to the military ticket. You would be purchasing a one day ticket and a two day ticket. Remember you can also only get six military tickets in a fiscal year. We needed two four day park hoppers and five seven day tickets. It was cheaper to purchase the two hero salute tickets and then just seven day tickets from MWR. Purchasing them through the ticket office on post saved us over a hundred dollars in taxes.

More times than not you are better off buying tickets at your MWR/ITT office or Shades of Green when you get to WDW. Disney Store will still charge sales tax and very seldom do they have the best prices.

Our nearest office is 150 miles away in Columbus Ohio and it is worth the drive for the money we save.

Def check prices
It might be better just to buy a five/six day tic vs the military and a one/two
I always wished they had different options, the four day never worked for us really including this upcoming trip where we need between six and ten day

There are some military ITT offices that will sell you the tickets over the phone. I know we purchased AFS tickets to Disneyland for either our 2009 or 2010 trip from an air force base in Utah when we were in Idaho. The Utah base required the military sponsor information, and they FedExed us the tickets.

I also could have purchased the 2014 AFS tickets from NAS Jacksonville over the phone. The base nearest me now ended up having them in stock before Jacksonville, but Jacksonville was set up and prepared to sell them over the phone and mail them out.
