Military Salute Tickets Question

Hello,

I am asking this on both here and the WDW Parks Forum. We purchased 4 4-day salute tickets at SOG at WDW and used them in April. Now we are thinking of possibly going to Disneyland at the end of summer. Can we now get 6 of the 3-day salute tickets either on base or at Disneyland to use in August? Do they have the same activation rules as they do at WDW?

Hi ladeedeb,

Yes you will be able to get the 6 3-day DL tickets you need in August.

Disney allows 12 total tickets during the Oct 2010-30 Sept 2012 timeframe.

And I believe I've heard that the WDW and DL ticket systems don't talk to each other anyway.

One of my friends at work just married a former Marine. I mentioned the military tickets to her and she asked if he was eligible since he was no longer with the Marines (he was honorably discharged). I assumed that he would be, but realized that I actually don't know. Should he be able to purchase/use them still?

"Eligible Service Members" are active or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard.....sorry

If you were to staying on site then you could have the EE/MM/what ever they are calling it these days. Have fun.

Yeah, I would love to stay onsite, I am just not sure it's affordable for us. We will have to see.
