Military salute ticket Question

Did you have to show ids....drivers license, etc. (for those old enough) for all members in your party that you were activating for?

In other words, did they have to be there with you when you activated them @ DTD?

thanks

I think a PP said that she/her servicemember went to go get the tickets while everyone else was looking in the shops? I would think that only one ID card (Either the Servicemember/Spouse) would be enough to get the tickets.

I think that might have been me. We activated our tickets at DTD and the rest of the family shopped while I waited in line. I wasn't sure if they needed to be there so they stayed close and I had planned to call them if they were needed.
The only things I needed to activate the tickets were my military/spouse ID, the names of everyone in our party and their date of birth. It was very easy.

Thank you for the response. I do remember reading your post. My DH was just in San Antonio with military duty and the ITT folks told him that the other members had to be with him to sign the back of the tickets:confused3 . I was thinking it was the adults that had to be there...which 3 out of 4 of the group are. I'm familiar with the conflicting information (and situational handling of things depending on the CM/ITT person you encounter) so this is what we plan to do:
Go to DTD on our arrival night and I'll activate our families with my military (sponsor, not spouse) id so that is out of the way. Hopefully they will let my DH activate the ones he has purchased for members of our TKD group. IF they say the others have to be there we will get in contact with them and start making arrangements. DH keeps saying "they will have to meet us at our convenience"....but he's much more of a softie than that when it comes down to it. So we'll spend hours running around to meet people (I know this is helping them tremendously though...the conference is already costing a pretty penny and the conf. discount tickets were not much of a discount).

Thanks and wish us luck....especially my DSs for the Martial Arts US Open!!!!

I'm going to be at Disney World with my cousin who is a military spouse one week before my son, his wife, and 3yr old child and was wondering if anybody else had tickets activated without all parties present. She said that she would get their tickets activated for them if I would buy them. I can easily bring copies of their ID's. Thanks for your help.
