Military Salute ticket extension question

I'm confused about the extension. The ITT offices say you have to purchase them by December 4th and use them by December 17th. But I saw the vacation package thru US to stay in a resort for 3 nights and get the tickets (buy 1 day get 2 days free), but you have to use the 1st day by December 4th. Are the tickets the same or are they different tickets?

I would say they are different tickets. I've never known WDW or Universal to bundle military tickets and anything else. So, I would say the US one is just one that all can book, but the military tickets, if you are talking about the salute ones for WDW, are only for the military. Also, I found, I can book a WDW hotel, and be only in the reserves, but must be active duty to get a military discount at Universal.

Either way, I think the Salute tickets for WDW are a great deal.

Thanks, Lynne, but I'm talking about Military Salute tickets for Universal. There are 2 different Military Salute promotions going on. I think I'll call Shades of Green tomorrow to see if they know anything. We have the WDW Salute tickets so we're going to both parks this year. And you're right, they're a great deal.

I thought you may have meant Universal. Calling SOG is a good idea. They were always helpful to me. I never saw a discounted Universal "salute" type of ticket. I always priced Undercovertourist and ITT prices to see what the better deal was. Last year, one of the Orlando official resellers had a better price for a buy 2 get 2 days free, so that's where I got the tickets.

That's what we did last year. 5 days at Universal and 9 days at WDW. Used salute tickets back to back, so we had a great time at both parks.

I got word that they're 2 separate deals. You should check with SOG for salute tickets for US for your next visit. We're doing 5 days at WDW and 2 at US. Going right before the Christmas rush and hoping it'll be a great trip. We haven't visited US yet so we're looking forward to it. If we like it as much as people tell us we will, we'll start making it part of our trip every year.
