I am trying to understand something about the Military Promotional Tickets that are the: Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper and Water Parks Fun and More Options for $165 each.

I undestand that this ticket means we can Park Hop for 4 days at the 4 major parks. I've been told that these tickets also give you four "entries" into Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, ESPN, Disney Quest and the golf course.

My question is: Do you have to use the 4 "entries" into the Water Parks and More on the same 4 days that you visit the major parks, or can you use them on seperate days, and if so, how long do you have to use them?

We will actually be at Disney for 9 days......so with this ticket, can we visit the major parks for 4 days and the "WP & M" locations for an addtional 4 different days? (In essence, stretching our vacation to 8 days of multi-park fun?

Yes! You have 14 days to use all of your entitlements once the ticket has been activated at any entry gate.:thumbsup2

That is awesome! Even with the military tickets, that is available? I haven't been able to find it in writing anywhere, so I didn't want to get things screwed up.

Can you please tell me if this plan will work or if I have gotten something wrong? I am planning this by myself, and would hate myself if I messed this up for my kids and Army Husband. ;)

Day 1: Driving in, check into Shades of Green early evening
Day 2: Check into Port Orleans French Quarter, store luggage if room isn't ready, then head to Downtown Disney/Quest for the day. ACTIVATE tickets here. (entitlement #1)
Day 3: Epcot (Park entrance #1)
Day 4: Magic Kingdom (Park entrance #2)
Day 5: Typhoon Lagoon (entitlement #2) . Hoop De Doo at night
Day 6: Animal Kingdom in AM, Magic Kingdom in PM (Park hop - entrance #3)
Day 7: Epcot in AM, Hollywood Studios in PM (Park hop - entrance #4)
Day 8: Checkout POFQ, check into Shades of Green. Blizzard Beach for the day (entitlement #2)
Day 9: ESPN in AM, Disney Quest in PM (entitlements #3 & #4)
Day 10: Check out, leave Orlando

This looks so confusing when I type it out! :headache:

Is this schedule going to work for the military 4 day WP& More tickets? Thank you so much! I am driving myself batty.

You have it all right except that you accounted for 5 entries to the water parks/DQ when you'll just have 4. But other than that, you have it all correct and yes, it works just like that. You can enter the parks 4 separate days and park-hop between them on those days. You will have 4 entries to the WP and/or DQ.

The only other thing I want to point out is that the 14-day expiration does not apply to the Military Salute tickets. Rather, all the entitlements on them last until the program expires on Sept 30. This doesn't apply to you, OP, but I did want to make that clear in case someone else reads this thread later. :goodvibes

I was curious about this too. We arrive on a Monday early afternoon and leave on Friday evening. We want to do
Monday Magic Kingdom
Tuesday Animal Kingdom/Magic Kingdom
Wednesday Epcot
Thursday Seaworld
Friday Magic Kingdom

Would love to spend time a disney quest if that is included in the ticket.

It depends on which ticket you buy. For $138, you can get a 4-day park-hopper OR a 4-day base ticket (no hopping) with 4 Water Parks Fun & More entries. For $165, you get the 4-day hopper WITH the WPF&M entries. If you are planning to hop AK to MK, you'll have to have the hopper, but for the extra $27, you get the 4 entries to the water parks and DQ, which is less than just 1 entry to one of those would cost. But, as outlined above, you can stretch out your vacation a bit and have more days to play for the same park ticket price.

Actually, the military tickets don't expire until Sept 30, 2012. So, they are good until then. I still have WP&M tickets from July on my military salute tickets and clarified that they are still good until then (we plan to use a few in May/June).

eta: I just saw this was clarified earlier. OOPS!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Thank you for pointing out my little "Ooopsie" on counting the 2nd entitlement day. I will correct that accordingly on my calendar.

I am SO PUMPED for this. When I originally booked our trip, I had no idea we could stretch it out like this....and it was by accident that I even found out that we could. LOL I'm glad I did, because my family will be so excited. My Hubby will be returning from Afghanistan a few weeks before this trip, so it will be a great 9 days for him to relax and enjoy our kids. :lovestruc

This is a "canned" response modified for the Armed Forces Salute 2011/2012 tickets with the assumption you have both the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More (WPF&M) options.

Hopefully this will make it a little clearer. In effect you have two tickets with different privileges on one card. Everything expires at Midnight on Sunday September 30, 2012. Even if you use up all your major park days, the WPF&M entries remain valid until used or 9/30/12. (Note you do not have to use the days consecutively.)

You have four days of access to the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK), and may visit more than one major park on a single day without any extra charges. Without the Park Hopper option you can only go to one major park per day.

You have four entries to the minor parks (BB, DQ, OT, TL, WWS). These may or may not be used on the same days as you go to the major parks. However, if you went to TL in the morning, Oak Trail in the afternoon, and Disney Quest in the evening of one day you would have used three of the four entries. (Note that leaving and returning to the same minor park on the same day does not use an extra entry.)

If you go to minor parks only on one day and do not go to a major park you do not use up one of your major park days.

If you were to go to a Water Park in the morning and then one of the major parks for the remainder of the day you would have used one minor park entry and one day of major park entry.

Note that with the ticket unless you have the hopper option you can only go to one major park per day. Unless you have the WPF&M option you cannot go to a minor park without upgrading or purchasing a separate ticket.

I would personally skip the trip to ESPN Wild World of Sports. I'd much rather do a water park!

Thank you to your family for your service to our country. My husband is an Army Reservist and did a year in Iraq in 2006-07. We went to Disney when he came home, too! :thumbsup2

Thanks! You have all definitely helped clarify it all, and I have not doubts now. It's going to be a great trip, with lots of time to see it all :)

Also, depending on how many in your party, you could use 2 tickets back to back, that's what we did in January to get 8 days out, I have to go to at least 1 major park per day on a trip. Part way through, we added the WPF&M option to our ticket so we could check out DQ.
