Hi All, I have a question for those of you who have access to Military park hoppers. At our base in MD (Bethesda naval Hospital)the MWR price for a 5 day park hopper is $217 adult & 175 child. We have always bought our tickets through here because they were always cheaper than any of the discount passes such as AAA or Disney club. In fact the AAA rate is $231a/183c currently. I believe gate price in Disney is $243a/195c. Here's the question: I was at the Disney store here in MD and their prices are exactly the same at the military prices. Whats the deal? Have the Disney stores always been lower than gate prices and the same as the Military or are the Military prices going up? Anyone else notice this?.

the cm said that they are not allowed to sell at these prices if they are in the state of FL. but here in MD we get the cheap price.

$217 was the price our Disney Store listed for the 5 day hopper also, but down at the bottom in tiny letters were the words "not including Florida sales tax" so with that added in the cost increases quite a bit. It is my understanding that the passes available at the military bases are not subject to tax, therefore you get them at the base cost of $217.

Kelly is right. The $217 that Tickets & Tours quoted you is the price- which is exempt from sales tax, unlike the tickets you can purchase at the Disney store. It saves you roughly around $15 by purchasing them at T&T. HTH!

Can you use Shades of Green Military discounts? If you can,
did you check out the shades of green stars and stripes prices? They are good for your entire stay, and include everything. All parks, Waterparks, disneyquest, pleasure island, all unlimited.
We always buy them the first day at the shades office which is now at the contemporary. You do need to show your ID, and can buy them for everyone in your party.
You can see the prices and compare it to the regular ticket prices if you go to the shades website, and click on ticket prices.
They do expire, however at the end of your vacation. I don't know if that is an issue for you or not.
Hope this helps
