Miley concert. Who has been so far?

DD8 and I will be attending the first week in October. Anyone attended yet? I was wondering how the concert is. I know that she isn't goint to be Hannah for this tour but is she performing some of the Hannah songs?

I'm going tomorrow night, so I'll let you know what I thought and if she performed any Hannah songs. Personally, I was wondering this as well, so we'll see!

I just got back from the concert. It was SO MUCH FUN! My friend and I that attended are both 18 and we felt it was a lot of fun, but there was a way different feel to the concert then the hannah montana concert that she has done previously. There were a lot of fun songs but to us it seemed like she was trying to make it more grown up maybe? She was wearing clothing that might be considered less then appropriate and showed off some dance moves that weren't exactly G-rated but I saw some of the parents laughing and the kids around us didn't seem to notice, other then that it was all really good fun. She sang a few hannah songs, but really not many. She sang Let's get Crazy, Spotlight, and It's The Climb from the Hannah Montana Movie. There were a few other songs from her newer album that she did that were ballads and very pretty, I was honestly impressed, but I am not sure how much the younger children enjoyed that part of the show. She sang Party in the U.S.A, See you again, and GNO, which I believe are big crowd pleasers. So, although most of the songs she sang weren't Hannah Montana songs and I would have loved to hear some of those tunes it was still a really fun concert. If your child is younger I would suggest perhaps getting food while metro station is on. I love metro station, but some of what they sang compared to some of miley's dance routines if you know what I mean... But all and all it was a really great show, I thought it was much more enjoyable then the Jonas Brother's concert I attended last year around the same time, but I'm not a small child anymore either, so I am not sure if the atmosphere was as fun for the smaller children as her last concert or the Jonas Brother's concert. It was just different.

Taking DD (12) to this when Miley gets to the UK. It was a secret up to her birthday when we gave her a Hannah card with the concert date/time in. I think half way down the street heard the scream when she read it!

I find it a bit bizarre as the last gig we went to together was the Foo Fighters! (we have eclectic tastes lol)

Thanks for the update! DD8 is can't wait. Sounds like a good time though I guess that I would wish for a more teenybob opening act and less slow songs. Like you said, I'm sure the younger kids won't notice.
