Okay, Team 1, we need a name. A name that strikes fear into the hearts of all who see it. A name that says it like it is. A name we can be proud of.

The Annihilators?

The Decimators?

The Steamrollers?

The Dancing Bananas? (at least we'd have a ready-made emoticon)

Big Green? (because this as close as green is getting to a championship this year. But wait till next year! J-E-T-S Jets!)

hey, wait...maybe we should name it in honor of our fearless leader -- The Big Victors. Because lets face it, we will be the victors, and we will win big. And I for one would be honored to be a vickette!

Okay, fine, you guys come up with something better.

A couple of points of clarification for record-keeping. Does biking count for both miles & time? I think earlier discussion indicated yes?? What about elliptical trainers? I know some of us use it in training, between training, or recovery, but I'm not sure as I think of it as XT.

As for Team Six, I'll send you a PM with my suggestion(s), Jeanne.

And, um, Team One? Just call yourself "Fear." Cuz I laugh in the face of it, especially when I'm trash talking!

Great options, Maria. I was going to PM Jeanne with my suggestions, but yours are much better. I really like the Team Ohana idea, which is weird because it's unlike my usual snarky self. (For the good of the team, I'll try to reign in that tendency.... )

But I also like The Wild and the Wicked--I have aspirations, you know?

So, really, either of these would fine with me. Not that that helps in decision making.

Thanks so much, Jen....your offer is gratefully accepted. One question though....how is it I did NOT meet you during marathon weekend. (or did I? At my age Altzimers is not that remote a possibly!)

Kate also suggested some team names: Figments Fighters, Spritely Spirits, Courageous Contenders, Walt's Warriors and Tinkerbell's Titans. Which got me thinking....how about Grim Grinning Gladiators?
Actually my favorite is still Team Ohana, but this is a democracy and I really need to hear from you.
