Is there a site anywhere that has the millage and estimated times from all the resorts to other resorts and to parks via car? Thanks.

I don't have enough of a post history to post a URL link to the website, but search for 'Our Laughing Place Transportation Wizard.' It should have all of the information you're looking for.

I just stayed at the BWI last month and used a rental car to everywhere but Epcot and DHS (even though I did drive there too on Fantasmic night knowing the boats would be packed at closing).

The longest drive I made was from the MK to AK and it was about 12-15 minutes. Most trips are under 10 minutes.

I also mapquested a few point A to point B trips that I knew we'd be taking and the estimated times were very accurate.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World contains a chart comparing travel times - car vs bus - but not mileage. The website in the previous post is notoriously inaccurate and tends to roundabout routing.

The furthest drive on property is from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Grand Floridian OR Contemporary Resort to Animal Kingdom Lodge (the reason for the difference is having to circle the TTC depending on which way you're going. Anyways, Both of those drives are approx. 8.5 miles and 15-20 minutes. ANY other drive on property between any 2 points will be less miles and time than this.

OLP doesn't always update their site with any new/different info. Because of this, I am always hesitant to recommend it to people. Those who have been to WDW multiple times will realize when info is 'off', but they aren't the ones that will need the correct info to begin with! Those that are new will have no idea that there could very well be better ways to move around WDW than those suggested by OLP.
So, be very careful if you use this site.

Thanks I found something with millage from all resorts to each park. I plan on printing out directions to each park from our hotel before we leave and put it in my Disney Book.

Have you tried GOOGLE MAPS?? Even able to zoom in far enough to see the size of the parking lots and buildings in CBR!!

I did that too with the Google Maps link from one of my latest Disney Destinations emails. I know I'll probably want to drive to AK and HS but still thinking about not driving to Epcot because of the F&W. :rotfl2: I do plan on sampling some wine. I was surprised when I saw the Google Maps directions showed it takes a little longer to get to HS than AK but then again I'm driving from FW Cabins. 7.8 mi. to AK and 10.6 mi. to HS and yes, I am avoiding I4.

Google may be taking you around to the DHS main entrance; the auxiliary entrance is more convenient from WDW Resort locations (although traffic backs up at it on busy mornings.)

Leaving FtW, you'll be heading E on Vista, then S on Bonnet Creek. Stay on Bonnet Creek to the end, turning right on Buena Vista Dr. The entrance to DHS will be on the left a few traffic lights up. When you pass Victory Way & the firehouse, it's the next light.
