Now, by work, do you mean work/work or WDW planning work? Big difference there!
Planning a vacation is so much fun! I can't wait until the new editions of the guidebooks come out. It's not like they change all that much from year to year, but I have to read 'em anyway!
As for the dining plan question.... If we would have had enough money to take advantage of the "free dining" that Disney offered this fall, we probably would have done it. With that having been said, I probably would have felt "obligated" to use all of my snacks and all of my meals to get the best deal possible. Good deal for the wallet; maybe not a great deal for my waistline.
However Mike, you have been doing an amazing job staying OP!
I bet that when you go to WDW, you will stay OP and make good choices foodwise. So, I say... Go for it! Plus, it gives you more of a reason to research WDW by checking out all of the menus and deciding ahead of time what you will eat and where.
