If you are flying out of Milwaukee/Chicago area, I just got Midwest Airlines for $178.00 round trip to Orlando and we are not traveling until October. This was the rate I got when the flight got closer last year too! So, if anybody is looking to book flights with Midwest next year, take a peak at their website and see if anything works for you!! Happy vacationing!!

Hey! I just booked that airline too. When are you traveling in October? That was a great rate, I couldn't believe it. I have been watching their site and the lowest I had seen was $230. My husband talked to someone at their 800 # and they told him that all of the "specials" are always on Tuesdays.

We are traveling 10/21-10/28, that is WI Teacher's Convention schedule and our kids don't have school on Thursday and Friday and have a Fall Fest on Wednesday, so they only miss two days!

That is good to know about Tuesdays, I didn't know that. We have been checking for our dates too, and the cheapest we have seen it was $248.00. When I saw the drop, I called my DH and he asked me why I was talking on the phone, that I should just BOOK IT!! I am glad to get the seats early (good choice) and it one thing already paid then.

Happy Holidays!

That is too funny, I also had to call my husband (I was at work) and he told me the same thing, BOOK IT! We are traveling 10/24-10/31 because of the Teacher's Convention, with ours being the 26th and 27th. We are taking our granddaughter, so she will miss two days the 1st week and 2 days the 2nd week. Hopefully we can get the homework made up BEFORE we leave. Have a great trip and Happy Holidays to you too.

PS: Are you going to do the Halloween party?

PrincessLexi-

Yes we plan to go to the Halloween Party on Tuesday October 24th! Hoping that Tuesday is not too busy. We booked the Poly, this will be our first time there, we can't wait!

I am glad I got the airfare. Someone on this board mentioned that the week of the teacher's convention is a popular week for Wisconsinites, so book airfare early as it fills up and prices go up! Whether that is true or not, I am glad I just don't have to worry about it!!

That is true: be happy you booked early. I have a lot of customers who want to go to Disney during WI fall break. I book many of those 10 mos in advance if Midwest has good fares so you got a great deal. I also booked some tix for myself last Tuesday for this spring break in March from Saturday to Saturday for the 195.40 (tax included) and was thrilled. Price on the same tix went up to 397.40 on Wednesday. Have you flown Midwest before? I know it is a long ways off but have a great time.

on Midwest as my brother is president of Midwest Connect and is CEO with MIdwest on the s"super saver fares!!

Everyone enjoy your trips on the "best care in the air airlines"

which is really more then a slogan its really true they are a great airlines!!

Dznypal,
You are right, they are the best. I wouldn't fly any other airline, and I'm not just saying that either!!

Dznypal,

Yes, I have flown Midwest and a number of other airlines and I do prefer Midwest! I was telling my husband how excited I was about our vacation to WDW and he just said he was excited to fly Midwest!! It is terrible it is ten months away though, I feel like I am wishing my life away! Yikes!

One more happy Midwest customer here :flower: . We booked for $201/pp inc. tax. Four of us are going to Disney from 10/20 thru 10/28!!! This is a direct flight from Kansas City. Not overly excited about the departure time (4:30pm) but am really happy with 2 across seating and those yummy cookies!!! We fly Midwest Airlines every time we can.

Oh, and if you are reading this, Midwest folks, how about flying into Burbank (Bob Hope Airport). It doesn't even have to be direct!

Another Midwest Exp. fan here-we just booked our 6/22-7/1 trip tonight for $230pp out of Muskegon, MI and connecting in Milwaukee. The times were great and the Muskegon airport is 5 minutes from our home. We usually fly out of Chicago for around $180pp, but when you add up the hotel overnight, parking and gas to and from Chicago, this totally makes more sense. With 3 kids, convenience outweighs all!
