Middle School - Clothes for Boys

One weird thing I notice, is boys this age stop wearing long sleeves. What is that???? Almost no boy or man I know can wear long sleeves and DS13 has now stopped this winter. I am very frustrated at the long sleeve tshirts etc hanging in his closet.

Yes!! My DS13 does not wear long sleeves anymore either. DH wears them, but not DS. Luckily, I only bought him one long sleeve shirt this fall. He wears a t-shirt, or a t-shirt with a hoodie instead, year round.

Same with my son and daughter! Neither wear long sleeves, just short sleeve with a hoodie over it.

Hi!

Thanks for everyone's input! It doesn't sound like too much change. I personally don't allow sarcastic comments on his t-shirts already, so I'm sure we'll be OK with the dress code. Colleen

Same with my son and daughter! Neither wear long sleeves, just short sleeve with a hoodie over it.

LOL! My 7th grader doesn't even wear pants....never jeans and it has to be below freezing, very below freezing for him to put on sweatpants. We live on Long Island and we've been pretty lucky this year, but last year it was freezing and he's walking around in shorts!

He really didn't care what he wore, until middle school...now he is picky!
