Middle names

I don't have a middle name either. Ann-Marie is my first name. People love to argue with me and tell me that i do have a middle name, but it is all one name.

I dont hate my middle name but I dont like either . It is Lynn , it is what I think your parents name you when they can t figure anything else out

My DH goes by his middle name Toby ( I am the only one that gets to call him by his 1st name James and get away with it sometimes)

DD I gave her a great middle name and she loves it is Dee-Ann( her 1st name is Whitney )

My son is named after his father ( my ex husband) so he uses his middle name Derick all the time

My name is Victoria Alicia, I never liked it as a kid but now that I'm older (God, how I hate saying that part ), I love it.

It was my mother's but she didn't like her first name (Mildred) so she went by her middle (Gayle). It's also my DD's middle name and my GG Grandmother's first name. I hope my DD has a daughter to pass on the tradition.

I LOVE my middle name. Margaret Rose.. sounds soo pretty i think!

Don't sign with it thought because Margaret Rose then my last name, gets kind of long after a while.

I like my middle name. I always have. It's Dawn. I use my first name though.
My son has 4 names- first, middle after his father, middle after his mother and last. Poor kid will probably hate his multiple names.

Myself and my Brother don't have a middle name,and when I was growing up I desperately wanted one like everone else!


My first name is very plain anyway,Karen, so I chose my Mum's middle name and pretended it was mine too,my pretend name was Ann! So Karen Ann

I occasionally use mine. I like it. It's a combination of names that my Mom used to name me after several family members.

My middle name is Ann the same as my Mum's. When I sign anything I always put the A in even my work email address choosen by my employer has the A in it!!

My parents didn't give me and my sister middle names, but let us choose when we were little. We both picked the names she never would've picked. Mine is Vivienne Leigh and my sis Jeanne Marie.
We lived in Georgia, but it wasn't Gone With the Wind that made me choose it, I took it from my neighbor Cheryl.

My mom wanted our names to match with "nne" and I carried the tradition with my three girls' middle names...Danielle, Michelle, Noelle.

My middle name is very common but the spelling is just a little different. It's Renae. I like it but it's never used.

I am also Annmarie (all one word) and I don't have a middle name either. My sister's first name is Lisamarie (no middle name for her either). I guess our parents figured our first names were long enough.

I have two middle names, both of which I love, and think sound really good when put with my first name. I also really like my last name, I only hope that when I marry, I will have a last name that I like as well. I do not sign anything with my middle names, because it would get really long doing that. Also most forms only have room for one middle name, for instance my driver's license only has my first middle name on it. I took a little slack in grade school for have two middle names. I only knew one other person when I was in high school who had two middle names, and my cousin has two middle names.

My middle name is Ley pronounced "Lee"

All of my names end in "ley", and it's quite cool.

My middle name is Bruce - how bland and boring is Bruce. My mom said that she liked the name, but I'm sure that she lost a bet to someone.

My DW's first name is Marie; she claims that half the women in the USA have either Marie, Ann(e) or Lynn(e) as a middle name.
Her middle name is Annette - I wish it was Antoinette; Marie Antoinette - that's a name!

My middle name is "Jeanne". It's pronounced "jean", but spelled differently. We have a girl here at work that's named Jeanne, but she pronounces it "zhan".

My first name is Valerie and my DH's sister's name is also Valerie. But her middle name is "Ann", so MIL calls us Valerie Jeanne and Valerie Ann.

BUT, MIL insists on spelling my middle name Jean -- she never spells it correctly!

My middle name is Marie like my Mom's and my Great-Grandmother's. I don't like it, but I don't dislike it. My siblings got better middle names (Jared Mathieu and Ashley Mei- pronounced May).
It sure beats Juniper, which is what my father wanted my middle name to be (I was named after the song "Jennifer Juniper")

My Middle name is Evelyn, I really don't like it. When I initial or sign something I put the E in there but rarely to I ever sign the whole name. It was my Grandmother's middle name and she guilted my mom into using it. I guess I should be grateful, I could have ended up with Dorothy which would have been much much worse!
