Middle Names Needed For Our 1st

My DD gave her baby girl a middle name combining both my middle name and her MIL's. Mine is Lee and MIL is Ann. Thus Samantha Leeann. It was such a nice way to name her.

CONGRATULATIONS!to both of you!

My DDIL is due to have her baby (hoping for a girl) Nov. 24th. And I believe they have decided Grace is the middle name. I like that too.

I know a Mackenzie Clare.

I also think Hope would be a good middle name too.

1. Mackenzie Leigh
2. Delaney Grace
3. Marissa Paige

Congratulations!

Congratulations on the upcoming addition to the family !!!!

With your last initial, you may not have to worry too much but my advice is to stay away from any initials that spell anything .....
take it from a SAP who knows ;) ...... when I called my mother on it she said it never even occured to her, that she just thought Sandra Ann was a pretty name.......

How about Lynne? I also like Joy, Grace, Hope, Marie, and Ann. I sort of think that with a longer first name a short middle sounds good.

DD#1's middle name is Marie, which would work with Delaney. DD#2's middle name is Kathleen, which would work with Delaney or Mackenzie (very irish sounding).
It is difficult. DD#1 was easy, but I decided to name DD#2 Erin and did not like any of the middle name options I came up with--Elizabeth, Nicole, etc. I teach at a HS so I stopped every single Erin I found for 2 weeks until I ran into Erin Casey, who told me her middle name is Kathleen--Erin Kathleen McConnell, you can't get much more Irish than that!
Robin M.

Congratulations!!

How about Elise or Elyse.......Eileen or Justine. These would sound great! I just love these names. They work very well as middle names with the first names you are selecting.

What a blessing to have a baby on the way!

Thanks to everyone for their advice on selecting a middle name for our first daughter. As the headline indicates, we chose Joyce in memory of my DW's mother. We couldn't be happier.

Not that I'm trying to be a doting father, but if you would like to see some pictures of our beautiful new daughter, you're welcome to visit the following site:

My wife and I did something similar with our daughter and combined parts of my wife's and her mothers first names. Doing this we got a middle name of Janelle. Congrats and good luck whatever name you chose!

Edited to add, I just saw that you already had the baby. Congratulations and great choice in names!

Congratulations and welcome Delaney Joyce. It is always nice to be able to honor the memory of a loved one by passing on their name to a new generation. DS was named after a father figure of mine, and I was named after my uncle, who was KIA in VietNam. Even DW's middle name is a 3rd generation name in her family.

She's beautiful! And I like her name, too. Have fun being a doting father. Babies are the best. Don't forget to show her DIS aunts and uncles follow up pictures as she grows.
