I voted December mainly because, if you go in December, it's one less group I have to deal with when I go in September. LOL But seriously, if I had a choice, I'd go in mid-December over September in a heart beat. The decorations. The weather. Yes, the crowds are lower in September (although, mid-December shouldn't be that bad). But the heat...I mean, it's not June and July heat, but it's definitely hot. And don't forget the possibility of hurricanes in September. Last time I went, in 2017, that one came through the week before I arrived. The only reason we don't go in December is because my sons job blocks out vacations in November and December. Otherwise, we'd go in December for sure.
If you haven't gone in December in the last several years, you can be relieved you missed the crowds. We go the first couple of weeks of December every year and have watched the crowds grow every year. We are going again late spring and I am not looking forward to wearing masks in the heat.

We went the week before Christmas 2010 and stayed at Pop.
It was pretty crowded at the resort and the parks were moderately crowded.

Yes, it's been many years since I've gone in December. I've also heard the crowds continue to grow during that time of year. I'd still love to go for the weather and decorations.

I am going with December. As mentioned by others, the holiday decorations are a huge draw and warmer weather than the Midwest but hopefully COVID vaccinations will have have been given out to a good portion of the US population.

Which holiday do you like better- Halloween or Christmas? I'd pick based on that. If you don't celebrate or prefer one over the other. I'd pick that month with the better weather. For me, that's December.

Christmas ❤️

We have been to Disney in September and many times in December. Early to mid December (most recent 2019) was awesome. From food and wine, candlelight procession, parades, weather, pools al good. September can be rough.

Which would you choose? We had to cancel our trips this past August and November 😭. We already have a credit for airline tickets and park tickets that expire September 26 2021.

I really want to go September because I’m having Disney withdrawals 😂, but I know it’s super hot! I would go now if we could, but that is the only 2 different times I have to pick from. I also would love to go in December for all the Christmas decorations. I’m guessing I can take the value of our tickets that will expire off the purchase of new tickets.

Crowd wise which is better? We hate to wait so long to go since we had to cancel 2 trips because of COVID. Then again I love cooler temperatures and the Christmas atmosphere.
Disney withdrawal....... Yes, I hear you - ME TOO!! I vote December because of Christmas.
