Our family of 4 (2 boys ages 3 and 6) are taking our first trip to WDW the week of Feb. 9th. I've heard great things about the breakfast at Crystal Palace, but the earliest ADR available was 9:40. I decided instead to book a 10:35 slot thinking that if we arrive at RD (not an am EMH day) that would give us some time to catch Peter Pan and maybe Pooh and a couple other Fantasyland rides before heading to CP at 10:35. Now I'm rethinking that plan. Does it sound overly optimistic/crazy? Would I better off trying to book a lunch ADR at CP? Still looking every day to see if an 8:00 ADR has opened up. Any tips for catching an open slot are appreciated as well. Thanks!

I am cancelling an 8:00 reservation on February 12. It's for 7 people so I am not sure that will help your party size.

I will wait until you reply to this post to cancel it.

Also FWIW, we have done the late breakfast/rope drop trick and it works very well.

Thank you! I was hoping to do Feb. 11, but Feb. 12th might work as well (they're both scheduled to be MK days). Can't hurt to try to pick up your slot! I'll try to make an ADR in a few minutes, or if you're cancelling later in the day can you PM me when you do it? (not sure if that's possible on this board...) Thanks again!

Darn- if I put in party of 7 I see it, but it won't let me get it with a party of 4. Boo! Thanks so much though for trying!

When you search for ADR's try putting in a specific time instead of just breakfast. I had luck getting things that way that didn't show otherwise.
