Hi,

I have the Disney bug bad and would really like to plan a trip for the week of June 16th.

However, I'm not a fan of big crowds.

Last year we went August 18th - 22nd and found the crowds moderate. Magic Kingsom was a little crowded.

How will my June dates compare? We can deal with 15 - 20 minute waits, we take long mid day breaks, and don't have to do it all.

But ... I don't want to go if it's going to be elbow to elbow.

Please advise!

Thanks

WDWO

We've been twice in June and never encounterd too many problems in terms of over-crowding.

You must remember though that we are British and we are notoriously good at waiting in line.

We'll be there from June 19th again this year, I'm paying the final balance today and I can't wait !!!

Give it a go, I reckon if you've experienced August, you'll be able to cope with anything...!!!

That time in June is really the beginning of the heavy summer crowds. It will likely be signficantly more crowded than those late August dates you went (when crowds go down because schools start in August). For some unknown reason, last year at that time in June was the worst I have ever seen for that time of year at MK -- 90 minute and longer lines for popular rides and packed to the gills all day and evening every day of the week. However, Epcot was lighter than usual for that time of year. Last year was also bad because that week had rain every day -- about 12 to 14 hours out every 24 and it poured most of the time it rained, but that is unusual even for that "rainy" season.
