Mid June - FP+ at MK

We are going to MK only and I'm trying to decide what and when we should get our fast passes for. We will arrive when park opens. I'm wondering if we should set them in the evening? We normally stay at park in the Am leave after lunch and come back after dinner. We ride during wishes as well it seems less crowded.
I know we will get a Buzz Light Year fast pass, but not sure about the others maybe THunder railroad for 2 of us and the new mermaid for the other two of us.

Any thoughts we are 2 adults and a 10 and 7 yr old. boys.

Is evening better to pick these or the AM?

Evening is definitely better. If you arrive at RD you'll be able to accomplish a good number of attractions before the lines start to really build.

We are scheduling all our FP+ in the evening. MK is so big and has so many attractions that if you get there at rope drop, you should be able to ride a fair amount before the crowds build in. We are usually out of the parks by noon so we don't really anticipate a problem. If we can get Mine Train by then though, we will probably do that whenever we can get it but the rest we will do later in the day.

When is the Mine ride opening? Is the new Mermaid ride good?
