Mid July or last week of august?

Am debating both dates. Which time frame is better???going with a 3 and 4 year old

Both will be equally hot and humid, but crowds begin to diminish end of August as many schools are back in by then.

We often go end of August and find the crowds very manageable.

Definitely end of August if you can. Most kids are back in school and the crowds are much lower compared to July. Plus points costs go down.

Significant difference crowd wise with mid July having much larger crowds than late August. Weather is similar, very hot and humid (you can sweat standing still outside at midnight) with high risk of some daily thunderstorms. A little easier mid July than late August to get near park resorts at 7 months out, although BLT lake view, BWV pool/garden, and VWL should be open for both times.
