Mid-April through August - when is best time to take 16 month old?

I am already trying to figure out when we can take our DS to WDW for the first time. We are looking at next year. DS will be 16 months old in April. I've always gone in March with my Mom but my DH's schedule is such that we can only go mid-April, May, June, July or August. Out of those when is the lowest attendance/best time to go? Im assuming that June, July, August are the worst months to go. Any advice?

Go in May. Most, if not all, of the Spring breakers will be back in school and the out of school crowds dont start showing up til June. Though it will be starting to get hot May wont be quite as hot as the summer months. You should have very little line waiting, if any at all.
They will be having Star Wars Weekends at MGM during the weekends May/June if that is something that interests you.

I have to vote for late April or May. We are actually leaving tomorrow with our 16 month old, and I wish we would have waited another couple of weeks so the spring breakers would be gone by then. Can't say I'm complaining though, heck we're going to WDW!
