Mid-Air Royal Chopper Crash

Breaking news: Two royal British helicopters crash midair over the Persian Gulf. 7 are missing, they are performing a search and rescue at sea right now. More prayers for the missing and their families.

It's so tragic. I wonder how the Brits are reacting to the news? I hope they don't blame the US,but so many of them are already unhappy with America. So many dead in crashes in such a short time. I pray there are no more casualties.

I don't think many British people will blame the US for these deaths. While the majority of people still think the war is unjustified, opinion is gradually changing as the war is getting under way. Certainly most people support the armed forces and want to see them home safely, even if they don't support the war.

Ditto to what Rob said.

Whilst there are still protests, most people are of the opinion that now it's begun, we are committed to events and so are rallying round. I've seen no suggestion that the people blame the US for our losses - besides, if anything, I think they would blame local government.

It's reported now that 6 British and one US was killed in the collision
