Mid afternoon crowds at TL/BB?

How are the crowds at TL and BB in the mid afternoon say around 1pm to 4pm? We leave in a couple days and we always go to a park in the morning and then take a mid day break to swim in the resort pool, but since we have LOS passes this year with the FTP, we thought about hitting the water parks in the mid afternoon a couple of days. Good idea or Bad, your opinion?

We just got back on Sat. We went to BB. After noon, the lines for the slides are terrible. And the lazy river is so crowded you just creep along pushed up against others. We had a great time from 9:00 til noonish. Then it got too crowded. We left and went back to the hotel pools. Be sure to get there around 8:30 to be able to get a good chair location.

We were there in late June and on several days BOTH water parks were closed due to capacity by noon. Call before you go and make sure they're letting people in.

Thanks for the info. What time did the crowds start to thin out a little? It may be close to 2-3pm before we get there and we are only really interested in the parts that are suitable for a 5 year old.
