Anyone know if there's a microwave available for guests to use in the club lounge? We were there last year, but I don't remember seeing one...

i don't remember if there was a micro in club.
i was in the club lounge last fall and just don't know.

you can call the concierge at the hotel to inquire if you need to know prior to your stay.

or you can rent one from star service for $15 per night.

push the star service button on the phone in your hotel room.

arrangements are made thru them.

Thanks for responding, Macraven! That sounds like a plan.

If I call before we get there and find out there is one available in the club lounge, I'll be sure to let you know. :goodvibes

I think I'd probably feel more comfortable using one in my room anyways. I want to heat some pre-cooked bacon for a little protein to go w/ the club breakfast. And I have a feeling that I (or the nice folks working the club lounge) might get mobbed if the smell of bacon is wafting through the air in the club lounge!!!

On that same note---I saw that PBH has boiled eggs available for breakfast. Do you know if RPR ever has them? I figured I'd request it once we're there and see what happens.

If you can't tell, my husband and I are doing Southbeach and so we are trying to find something to eat besides the delicious chocolate croissants, warm cinnamon rolls, donuts, muffins. (Don't get me wrong---I WILL be snagging one of each of those while on vacay, but want some eggs/ turkey bacon to help keep me somewhat on track.)

Might be cheaper and easier to just add some Greek yogurt to get that protein.

I know this isn't a huge help - but HRH had boiled eggs at breakfast every day in the lounge. It would be weird if it was only 2 out of the 3 hotels that had them; hopefully someone will be along that can confirm.

I will say they were great at getting us stuff they had that wasn't out all the time: for example, they had peanut butter packets out at breakfast for the toast and they would get some for DD each evening so she could use it with the raw veggies that were out with the appetizers.

i've been in club at both HRH and RPH.
they do have different spreads.

RPH has more of a selections on their offerings.

I don't recall seeing hard boiled eggs at RPR club level lounge when I was there in July.

I don't recall seeing a microwave in there, either.
