Microwave at Swan/Dolphin?

Is there a microwave anywhere to use at Swan/Dolphin? If we get giant steaks at Shula's I was hoping there would be so we can eat the leftovers.

Not that I am aware of, but you could probably ask them to warm it up for you at Picabu's which is counter service downstairs at the Dolphin.

Otherwise, cold steak is good chopped up on a salad.

I don't know if the Swan or Dolphin has a microwave oven available for public use, but Picabu (or any restaurant) will not be able to heat food you bring in because of health code regulations.

Does anyone know if the Swan or Dolphin will provide a microwave (willing to pay a fee) for a medical necessity? My nephew with Down Syndome has very limited diet and will need to eat the majority of his meals in the room. I realize he could stay somewhere else but wondering specifically about this resort as this is where my family is staying for a conference and we would prefer to all stay at the same resort.

Hoping someone knows this answer.

Last year, our room at dolphin had no micro,and I have a great photo of my teen son 'reheating' his burger and fires with the hairdryer I don't think it was a big success but he ate it anyway LOL

We requested a microwave in a suite in The Swan one year & was told they cannot provide them for rooms due to insurance liability. However we just wanted it for personal use, I'm not sure if a medical necessity would be different.

Since you're willing to pay a fee, how about just buying a cheap-o microwave to use during your stay? You can order one from Amazon and have it shipped directly via Prime (so it arrives when you do) or pick one up at Walmart for around $50-60. Seems like a worthwhile investment in your case.
