Microsoft/Mac- Really Annoying

I made this thread to tell you people that even though Mac has alot more capabilities, if you're a gamer, don't get one.
I LOVE me Mac, but sometimes certain things get on my nerves. On Fridays I went see the third Pirates movie at the Hollywood El Capitan Theatre. When i was there i got a special package with a beta key for the new Pirates Online game. Knowing how much of a pirate freak i am, I totally check out this game. I look at the different previews of it and just say, "WOW". I was about ready to give it a try when.. I download it and what do you know.. its for Microsoft. Just because Microsoft is more popular then Mac, it really bugs me knowing I can't play awesome games like Pirates Online because I have a Mac. I really hate the discrimination of Macs and Windows comps. Why can't they just make them the same way? I know there is lots of financial issues involved, but why can't these full grown programmers of games just be Mature people and actually make the game for both? I really am mad right now at this. I am so happy with VMK because its online and works with Mac, but not quite with the Pirates game. Anyways.. What do you think i should do? Get a Windows Comp? or just deal with it?

Get Parallels Desktop. Then you can run Windows apps on your Mac, and have the best of both worlds.

Or use Boot Camp (free) to dual-boot into Windows.

Ace, you're not missing anything special. Pirates of the Caribbean Online has almost nothing to do and crashes a lot- but all games do that in the beta stages. I have only seen those "h@rdk0r g@m3rs" (just for the record, I loathe the word 'gamer' ) play for more than a month. My advice is to not let POTC take up all that space on your harddrive and give it a chance when it comes out.

I am in the same boat.. i own a mac so no pirates online for me... and i don't have an intel mac either...
But!
pirates online is coming out for mac... but no clue when though, I heard late spring and it is late spring... so maybe late summer to fall to winter... who knows!!!

lol, thanks everyone. It's just SO frustrating that i see all these awesome games and i can't play them at all >_< oh well, oh and hey that is cool if they're making the pirate game for Mac!

High Five on just realizing this.

Those Mac commercials should have the PC pull out a Dualy or Something like it and shooting the Mac, and then saying, "You may be able to spout propaganda, but I can actually play games. I can score a headshot on you before you can even think."

That would be a most awesome commercial.

Actually I really don't care about not playing games on the mac because there is a reason why i bought all of those game systems....
