Mickey's Very Merry Xmas: Affect ADRs?

Hi all,

I only just realized that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a "hard-ticketed" event -- there's nothing like that in Disneyland -- no separate event.

Anyway, I'm concerned now. Our 12/13-12/20 trip overlaps some of the MVMCP nights. I've already made ADRs, including Tomorrowland Terrace Desert, during that time -- how does that work? MK closes at 7:00 p.m. on the night of a MVMCP, right? Our Tomorrowland Terrace Desert Party ADR is at 8:45 p.m. Does that mean we HAVE to have MVMCP tickets, now, too?

Thanks in advance for everyone's kind help,

NF

Yes. To remain in the park after 7:00, you'll need MVMCP tickets for every member of your party. Or, change your Dessert Party to a non-party evening.

Thanks, folks. I guess I'm just kind of startled that I would have been allowed to make the ADR without mention of NEEDING the MVMCP tickets...it seems like the kind of thing that perhaps ought to have been said, you know?

They have always told me when I make an ADR in the park that you need appropriate park admission.

Normally people just nod and say yea yea yea.. That means if you make an ADR at MK and plan on going to EPCOT that day you need park hoppers, if you make dinner plans during a party you need party tickets.

Oh and the website says this...

"In order to participate in this experience, park admission is required."
