Hi everyone, I am going to wdw from Nov 3-17. I have just noticed about the Christmas event after I booked to go in 'be our guest', anyway on the booking it shows I need a seperate ticket to be able to dine there. I have already bought wdw tickets, and am now worrying we aren't going to spend time in the park when the Christmas party's are on. I'm still hoping to see the fireworks and 'celebrate the magic' etc If anyone could give me any information that would be much appreciated x

If you don't have a Christmas party ticket you won't be allowed to stay in the Magic Kingdom after 7pm (when the party starts). It's been that way for years. Check your reservation time again. If it's after say about 6:20 or so they may not even let you in the restaurant. That's new this year.

Once you finish dinner you will be escorted out of the park the whole way to the exit. No stops at stores, bathrooms, nothing.

Be Our Guest does not require a separate ticket if you are already in the park at that time.

If your reservation is before 7pm, you should be allowed to dine, but you would be escorted out of the park after eating.

There is no normal Wishes or projection show on party nights.

If you want to watch party fireworks, it would have to be watching from outside the MK gates (including TTC or possibly Poly beach)

If you want to see fireworks and projection shows in the park, then you would need to change your plans to be in MK on a non-party night, or buy party tickets.

Great thank you, our table is booked for 7.15, may have to pursuade the other half to go! It will be an experience

Just keep in mind that it's going to be quite an expensive meal if you choose to keep it at that time and buy party tickets. You are going to be spending about 1.5-2 hours of the party at the meal, which in my opinion is a waste. I would either try and get an earlier time at BOG or if you choose to go to the party then cancel the reservation.

You better make sure you will be allowed to actually dine there. I've been seeing reports that you may not be allowed in after a specific time.

Good point. The last thing you want to do is waste too much time eating during MVMCP.

If you intend to go to the party I would cancel that meal. It is going to take a lot of party time away, so that meal is going to be wicked expensive.

The meal is cancelled now, I've had a goodish look into it and thought if we do end up going to the party I don't want to be inside. Gutted but never mind.

Lots of back and forth above :chat:

Park DAYS require a park ticket.
Park PARTIES require a special ticket that allows you to enter at 4 pm but no earlier without a regular park ticket.

On Party days there are actually 4 meals per day at BOG. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special Party Dinner with specific hours.
If you do not have tickets to the Special Party you can only book/eat during the Dinner hours.
If you do have tickets to the Special Party you may book/eat during the Special Party Dinner hours.
My personal opinion is if you have purchased Party Tickets you don't want to waste a minute of it, especially so much to eat a TS meal.

Here are the basic BOG hours on Party Nights that would appear on the restaurants info page.
So if you are not going to party ... you can not book after 6:20 pm.

Breakfast
8:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Lunch
11:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Dinner
4:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Dinner
Special Ticketed Event
6:20 PM - 10:00 PM

PS KEEP checking for ADRs for BOG for other hours or meals right up until morning of. People grab it when they find one and then cancel all the time because it doesn't work into final plan.

I get it! The past two trips I wanted BOG because my family would have loved it but no, I could not get that ADR. Try for breakfast or lunch if you think you will be having a break to eat when you are in the MK>

This!

Question for all.. So I have an ADR for BOG at 5:00.. and tickets for the MVMCP. I assume they will be able to give us the wrist bands when we get to MK at 4:00. I don't want to have to go get the wrist bands after dinner. Trying to time it so we hit the ground running for the 7:00 festivities.

Yes - you will be given a wristband when you enter with your party admission. If you choose to enter the park before party admission is permitted (with regular park admission/park hopper) then you will be able to pick up a wristband at one of the designated locations within the park.

Agreed- keep looking! We had to make ours for 6 on a party night since we won't be attending and the time cut off was written on the BOG page as it is above.
