Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

Does anyone know what time the fireworks for MVMCP start? We went last year but I cant remember. Is it 9pm or 10pm. I thought it was 9 but I thought I read somewhere it was 10. So I'm confused. Thanks lots.

Thanks for all the great ideas and advice for my sil and her son. I think I will encourage them to come for three days/nights and try to do Osborne one night, CP one night and MVMCP one night.

One more question...I think I will get the CP dinner pkg. Which rest. would you guys reccommend? We will have 8-10 adults and my two dds (ages 1 and almost 5) and my nephew (almost 2yrs.). Thanks!

It was 9:15 P.M. last year. If you need to see other times for last years shows and parades and picture locations, etc., just look at the link at the bottom of my signature.

I have copied last year's MVMCP brochure.

I also have links to the first two weeks of information about shows times, etc. in other links located in my signature below.

Have a great time.

Sincerely, Ray

Tough decision, but maybe you could start looking at Deb Wills' FAQ at:

http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/h_cpfaq.htm

And then look at the menus here to see if everyone would like the foods:

http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

Last year these were the restaurants available:

The Garden Grill Restaurant - The Land
Biergarten - Germany
Restaurant Akershus - Norway
Tier 2
Adults - $37.99 / Child (3-11) - $11.99
San Angel Inn - Mexico
Restaurant Marrakesh - Morocco
Nine Dragons - China
Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room - United Kingdom
Tier 3
Adults - $44.99 / Child (3-11) - $11.99
Chefs de France - France
Coral Reef - Living Seas
L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante - Italy
Le Cellier Steakhouse - Canada
Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Room - Japan

I really like the Le Cellier because of the steaks and the atmoshere.

I like Japan also because of the food and the entertainment of the chef cooking the food. I forget how many people fit at a table though.

I like Morroco because of the coucous and the steamed vegetables and chicken. The way that they prepare the food with spices and presentation is wonderful. Plenty of room here. Great atmosphere, a dancer that invites young children to dance with her.

With a smaller party, and if I had a chance to see Illuminations on the patio, I would choose the Rose and Crown.

So many choices.

I do know that if I buy a CP package this year it will be very early so that I could get the restaurant and time that I want.

Sometimes if you wait to long, either the restaurant is sold out or the times become the less desirable times to dine.

Have fun planning.

Sincerely, Ray

I agree with Ray about Le Cellier. That'll be our choice this Dec. When you look at what the menu items cost, the CP dinner pkg is actually a pretty good deal. And we always try to do one nice dinner on our WDW trips, so this fits perfectly into our plans. We're doing a 6:45 CP show with dinner beforehand (we have little kids, so we eat early).

Question ...
I was thinking about going down Dec. 9 - 11 and was checking prices for the party on the 9th ... this would be our first time for the party. If I buy them now they should be discounted right (thirty something) but on the web page it says it is full price (fourty something) ... is there no advanced dicount for Friday's ????

I'm sorry if these questions were asked before, but I couldn't read all the previous info.

If we are in the MK on the day of a Xmas Party, what time do we have to leave the park? Will we miss Wishes? Do they still have Wishes on these nights and if they do, what time will it be? TIA

Last year the park closed at 6 pm to those who didn't have party tickets, and no fireworks were shown to my knowlege. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm basing this on MNSSHP, I believe they are the same.

Hope this helps!

You will have to leave by 6:00p. The park closes at 6:00p on party nights.

There is only the special Wishes fireworks at MVMCP which are at 9:15p.

For you who went to the MVMCP before, would you go twice if you could of? I will be there for 10 days am have thur tickets, should I go for sun too ???

Okay - I'm beginning to be really confused. If we're in MK the day that we have MVMCP tickets - do we have to leave? If so, when and when can we get back in? Thanks - I'm sure it's been answered, but eyes are bleary from reading.

Thanks for the advice on the CP dinner! I think we will go with an early dinner at Le Cellier (lots of steak lovers in the group) Thanks again!

No you won't have to leave and re-enter. There will be CMs around to hand in your tickets too.

Has anyone ever been able to exchange a MVMCP ticket for an earlier day? I'm going to get Friday tickets, if all goes well on our flight thursday maybe we can attend earlier.

That is certainly a possibility. That is if they are not sold out. Just ask at your resort when you checkin at the Customer Service desk. Good luck.

Sincerely, Ray

I was thinking about getting my tickets now so that I could try to get in LTT. I'm worried about the weather, though. Does anyone wait until they get to WDW & try to get tickets so that you have a better prediction of the weather?

Bigbabyblues and beattyfamily,

Thanks for the info. I think we'll head over to the Poly for dinner and watches Wishes from the beach.
