YOu can order online at : http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans#subcat2

BUT it will show no availability online for Dec. 18........they had it yesterday but this morning it was gone...........BUT, I called & was able to purchase them over the phone...so it won't hurt to call. Operator said that online will sell out first and that they don't have any idea how many are left until the sold out comes up....when I called for dates: 12/16; 12/18 or 12/20...only 16 & 18 were left.
hope this helps.

Last year, the CP packages went on sale around August, from what I remember. Just keep an eye and ear out.

On-line is still showing tickets available for all dates. It let me put tickets in my cart for the 16th, 18th and 20th.

I thought the CPP's went on sale last year on Sept 2nd.

Do the restaurants change year to year for CPP or do they pretty much stay the same? Thanks :earsboy:

They pretty much stay the same. At least they have the past two years. I'm banking on it.

Thanks for responding to my questions, angey77. I really appreciate it. My wife and I are now contemplating upgrading to moderate resort. The only problem I have with spending the extra money (I have been many times in past and stayed at all levels of resorts) is that, now that we have 2 young boys, we are most of the time at the parks and spend very little time in our hotel rooms (minus nap time). I hate to spend extra dough if I don't have to. Besides, the kids love the big Woody and Buzz lightyear! :cool1:

I appreciate your thoughts in regards to the first week of December being a good time to go. I am looking forward to being able to go on most of the rides with relatively short wait times. We are going to MVMCP the first night we arrive Sunday, Dec. 4th. I think it will be a great way to start off the week for the boys! After reading this thread, though, and hearing what everyone else says I am now going to go again on Thursday, Dec. 8th. MK has always been my favorite park (I have family near Anaheim, CA so we go to Disneyland, CA every other year) and I can't wait to go to our first (and 2nd) MVMCP!!

Thanks again, angey77. I guess I'll be polite to you even though you're a LSU Tiger!! I'm an OU Sooner - you guys broke my heart last year! In all seriousness, congratulations on your recent marriage (and I guess Nat'l championship in football - ha ha). Take care.

I'm with you, Disney Dadd. With two children, I would stay at All Star Movies. My nieces were 8 and 5 the first time we brought them, and they adored staying in the Toy Story section. The theming is more Disney-oriented too, as compared to moderates.
Better to be an OU Sooner than a USC Trojan :)

tonight they don't show availablity for those dates at all...go figure...maybe they're like sw & release tics little by little!

It still shows tickets available for all dates. None of the MNSSHP's sold out last year before late August - I'd be surprised if MVMCP sold out this early.

Wow, this is a great thread. I guess that I should go ahead and buy my ticket.

Is anyone going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Thursday, December 1st?

I think that the 2005 Mousefest will have a few people there that night about 15 minutes before the 9:00 P.M. MVMCP Wishes fireworks. Last year they met in the Rose Garden area of Magic Kingdom.

I lot of people think that because there are so many disney websites that participate that the park will be to busy that night. It's not like that at all. Most meets are two to ten people and some are more. Some have several different meets at the same time.

So don't worry that the 2005 Mousefest will make the park overcrowded. That would be like saying everyone here that has posted will make the parks overcrowded because they said that they were all going to MVMCP.

If you don't know about Mousefest, here is a link that I made last year about all of the different websites, arthors and meets.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=635646

And last year, I arrived the first night of MVMCP and wrote down the MVMCP brochure word for word on one of the pay computers at Kinkos.

Here is that link:

So who else is going to MVMCP on Thursday, December 1st/

Would anyone like to have a DIS meet of some kind that night. Maybe meet at the Mousefest fireworks meet. Or maybe a DIS ride attraction meet. I love Splash Mountain. Or maybe one of the Christmas shows DIS meet.

We need more DIS meets in December.

There are two DIS meets that I know of so far. One at Old Key West on December 4th by the DIS Moderator Danny, and one December 2nd at Jellyrolls by DIS Moderator Karen.

Any one interested?

Sincerely, Ray

Is there a December DIS meet thread? I may be there on the 4th, but I haven't firmed up plans yet.

Hey Ray!!! Should be some of us going on the 1st. There are a bunch of Dis'ers going to a meet at Jellyrolls on the 2nd with TLinden (aka Karen). I'm planning on the 1st for MVMCP...will I see you there? Leaving George at home so your scooter should be safe from thievery!!! Any other Dis'ers going 12/1??

Hey Ray, Thanks for the links and info'n. I've been a bit nervous about the Mousefest. Not really about large meets and too many people at the parks/parties....but that the people who will be there willl be VERY Disney saavy. All running to the same places when the gates open, etc.

On the flip side, it might be fun to meet people who are as avid about the Mouse as we are!!!! :cool1: We aren't doing MVMCP until the 13th....but hopefully when they post their schedule for this yr we can join up for a meet or 2. At the moment, I don't think the Mega meet will fit into our plans (which is too bad as that's the one I'd most like to go to!) Will have to relook at which parks on which days! Yes, it's only June and I'm already shaping that out!!! :confused3 Please post a link when you see the official Mousefest schedule for this year!!!

Oh, and I've been posting a few questions on the Candlelight Processional. One more..... Are the menus for those restaurants pkgs limited to certain selections??? Does it include an appet/salad...entree and dessert?? Or can you order anything off the menu?

The only restaurant I have heard that offers a limited selection on the menu is San Angel Inn. We ate there in 2004 and I remember being limited to appetizers, the tortilla soup and ceviche were two I remember. Also, for dessert, you were only allowed flan ... icky. We dined at Le Cellier last year and had whatever we liked on the menu. Well worth it.

If you sign in on the passholders site, it does not show availablility...not sure why...maybe those discounted ones are gone.....but they do show tickets on the regulart disney site.

There's not much of a schedule yet, but the official site seems to be mousefest dot org (For some reason I can't actually post the link).

Unfortunately I'll be arriving after all the fun is over. :sad2: Well, maybe not all the fun! (Where's that winking smilie?!!)

Hi, Benji. Yes there is. Two different DIS people have started DIS meet threads that I have seen. They are located on the DIS Meets Forum.

I'll see if I can put the links here for you.

Here is one link to the DIS Meets Forum by the DIS Moderator Danny (danny1649 and his DW Belinda at the Old Key West Resort on Sunday, December 4, 2005. I really hate missing this one.

And here is another link to the DIS Meets Forum by the DIS Moderator Karen (TLindon16) at the Boardwalk Resorts Jellyrolls on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 8:00 P.M. until closing. DIS Moderators like WebmasterKathyTX will be there. They alway have a great time.

Hi, goofy4tink. I'll be there Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I can't wait.

I don't see a Mousefest schedule, yet, but on Friday, December 2, 2005, I'll probably see Epcot's Illuminations fireworks show first and then head over to Jellyrolls to see all of you "wild and crazy DISers"...lol.

What? You're leaving George at home? I may buy my own scooter by them instead of renting one.

I can't wait to see you.

Is anyone else going to the Thursday, December 1st, MVMCP?

Sincerely, Ray
