For those leaving for WDW after Thanksgiving you may want to wait til then to check out your local Disney Store - I did this last yr and got some great deals on clothes and goodies for the stockings.

I picked up T-shirts for $5 each!!!! They ususally don't advertise their day after Thanksgiving Day sales so just head over and check it out.

It's getting closer and closer to DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi - it's our first time to MVMCP. We have tickets to go on Thursday, December 2nd. I thought that you could only go in at 7:00 p.m. and that the party finished up at midnight. I read some posts which said that you could go in earlier - is this true?

I agree $40 for a Santa Mickey Hat is steep. Let us know what you find out from Guest Services. WishI could remember the name of that Christmas store in DTD.

AlwaysAPrincess, the Christmas store in DTD is called Disney's Days of Christmas, though I don't have a phone number. Hope that helps.

Just out of curiosity, I looked on eBay & there are several hats listed right now. In fact, there's an adult hat that ends in about 40 minutes, with one bid of 9.95. I just did a cursory search & it looked like the others were for small children. I don't know details on each auction, didn't look that far. Hope that helps someone!!!

I had posted earlier that I had ordered the Princess Santa hat through Gifts of a Lifetime for my DD8. It was $19.50 plus shipping. I received it yesterday and it is really the most adorable thing that I've ever seen. It's a basic Santa hat, but it's pink and the fur trim is irridescent. On the brim it says "Princess" and around the brim is a tiara. Great quality, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Was looking around the Gifts of a LIfetime site, and saw the Princess Santa Hat, but where are the ears? I thought there were supposed to be ears on the hat!?

I think the Mickey Santa hat is the one with the ears. The princess hat has a tiara.

All the WDW scrapbook kits are 12 x 12, so I imagine the album would be also. Here is Jane's e-mail address, I'm sure she can let you know the size, jane@giftsofalifetime.com

How important is it to be in the park before 7 pm? We have a PS at Whispering Canyon at 5:10 pm because my MIL will want a sit down meal and figure she will really like it. Plus I want to see the xmas decorations at the WL. We should have enough time to get to MK by 7 especially if we get to Whispering Canyon a little early. Any advice? Should we keep our PS or try getting an early PS in the MK? I'm thinking there won't be much left for 5ish in the MK by now.

If you are in MK before 7, the entire park is not open, only Tomorrowland. We got there much earlier last year and just rode Space Mountain twice and Buzz Lightyear.
My party has a PS for 5p for O'Hana and we are figuring we will still be there before 7p. I think you will be ok with your ps, just be sure to check in around 4:50.

For those who are still looking for a PS for LTT before MVMCP, I was just able to make a 5:20 PS for 12/16. I had been trying for several weeks with nothing available, and they just had several times available (4pm, 5:10 and 5:20) so they evidently opened up some more times. I'd say that in that case it's likely there may be times available on surrounding dates also.

Welcome to the Dis Glawgirl!

This will be our first MVMCP too!!! We are so excited. We are going on 12/17. From everything I have read on these boards, they have been letting people in to MK at 4 pm with just your MVMCP ticket - so you don't have to use a day off your hopper. The park closes at 6 pm. At that time they will send everyone going to the party over to Tomorrowland, Fantasyland or both while they clear the park of day guests and add the special party touches. The reports also indicate that they tend to follow similar rules for MVMCP as they do for MNSSHP. Reports back from MNSSHP have indicated that they are indeed letting people in at 4 pm with just the party ticket. So looks like they will do the same this year at the MVMCP.

Thank you so much for responding. I was so confused being that it's the first time my hubby and I will be going to MVMCP. I was happy to hear that they would let you in at 4:00 p.m. - that gives you alot more time to ride everything. Thanks again!

Thanks for the replys. I think we will keep our PS at Whispering Canyon before MVMCP. We should be finished by 6:15 and then take the ferry over to MK.

Sorry it took me so long to get back! Sick DS , temp job (don't let that get to be a habit!)

Anyway, I called Guest Services and the Days of Christmas store in DTD does have an ample supply of "mickey ears santa hats" for $14! Adult size only, though.

$14 is a WAY better price than $39! And I don't have to pack them until we come back home!
