So the picture is included in the price of the ticket? I never saw any information on that...

Just booked for the 16th...very excited!!!

I have 5 kids under 7, so our sitting capacity is limited.!=) We plan on watching wishes and spectromagic on another night; which of the christmas party shows and/or parade would you reccomend not missing?

What are the processes to do the free-picture-taking? Will there be a coupon that'll be handed to us when we receive the wristband?

Our picture was one per party when we went 2 years ago. They mailed us the picture and it came in about a week.
Make sure you are on main street if you want it to snow during the parade. We were in Adventureland and it did not snow on us...This year we will make sure we are on Main Street for the parade.
We did the later parade and went to the early shows which were not crowded if you get there early.
I think we might have gone on 2 or 3 rides during that evening. There is so much else to do.

I am on the phone right now with a CM trying for a PS at CP beore our MVMCP. He is telling me they do have 5:25 PS available but I have to have a park ticket for that day, and that the MVMCP ticket will not work since it doesn't start until 7 p.m. I am on hold while he checks with someone. He is telling me that you all are wrong and he is making a phone call to check up on it. Wish me luck.

Well, the CM told me that I should get a later PS because they can not guarantee that they will let me in the park without a ticket prior to the start of the Xmas party. I will try again tomorrow, I guess, or just eat somewhere else prior to the party. Rats.

You should have just made the PS. You just got a CM unfamiliar with the procedures on party nights.

They will let you in after 4:00p with JUST your party ticket whether you have a PS or not. It's been that way for the past 2 - 3 years and its been confirmed by many other CMs that they will do it again this year. They do this to space out the times that people enter for the party. This way not everyone is trying to enter right at 7:00p.

Good luck tomorrow.

The CM very likely has never been to MVMCP.

I went to MNSSHP (same deal) in 2002 with a PS for LTT at 5:30. Had PS number in hand when I entered at 5:00, but CM at entrance couldn't care less -- just gave me a wristband.

Same thing last year; got there early for our 5:05 PS, and just went right in with our MVMCP tickets.

Well- it's official. We already had tickets for MVMCP Dec. 7 and bought the second set for Thursday, Dec. 9. Two MVMCP for us!!!! Add us to the Dec. 9 list too!!!princess:

Today is my 90 day window for December 14 will be calling to make our PS's at Artist Point. :Pinkbounc

We have never been to WDW in December before and I got our tickets for 12/9 and then saw on these boards that if you have a PS reservation they will let you in the parks early. My daughter called and the CM told her no way-you need to have a regular ticket to get in before 7. Told my daughter to call back, 2nd CM told her doesn't know if they will let us in, but it doesn't matter because there is nothing available for PS anyplace before 7:15pm. Told my daughter to call back again, guess what? We have a PS for CP at 5:40. I really think that some extra training is needed for some CM's.

Yes, you can get in early with a PS - but you do not need one. You can enter the park with just your MVMCH ticket from 4:00 on. Try to get there early and check out some rides before your PS.

Linda

Thank you, thank you, this trip is looking better and better. Of course anything will be better then our last visit, August 13th.

Markey, we have PS at CP for 5:50! Maybe we will see you there. It will be me, DH, DS (2), and my mom & stepdad. We are going to enter MK around 4-4:30 and try to squeeze in a little pre-dinner fun. :Pinkbounc

maybe we will see you there thekimber - it will be my husband, daughter, myself and 3 grandkids, 3, 9 and 10. Also looking to enter at the same time.

We're doing VMCP on the 9th too. We have a PS at CP for 4:10pm, just in case they aren't letting you in early. There's no actual guarantee they will let you in at 4:00, they just have in past years. W/ PS they escort you to the restaurant and you're in for sure. Then during the 6-7 pm time when they hoard you to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland, we're hoping to end up in Fantasyland and hit a few rides. Not sure how crowded it will be during that time, but we think it's the best way to go to make sure we're in early.

I am so excited!!

I'm 99.9% sure they will not escort you to the restaurant.

After you get in with or without a PS and they won't even ask. They will only ask for your ticket and give you a wristband.

Of course, all things can change when it comes to Disney but I highly doubt it.

We're going to VMCP on the 30th with a PS at CP for 5:40....can't wait. BUT, we were planning on a park day at MK for Friday Dec. 3. We have CRT in the morning and were staying until early afternoon. Is FRiday going to be crazy? I just keep seeing that MVMCP will likely be sold out for that night. I'm hoping it won't be busy until that night. Anybody know?
