angel's momma - Donald's Tree Lot was between Liberty Square and Fantasyland. Just before It's a Small World ride.

What was in the tree lot?
I walked by and it just looked like Trees...was I missing something?

I believe it was a Donald greeting area. We saw a sign that said Donald was away at the moment but he would be returning soon! Then later in the evening he was there signing books and doing photos.

We also were at the 11/30 party. We arrived at the gates at about 4 exactly. I tried to use my AP but it was denied!!! Tried again. Nope, wouldn't take it. The CM at the gate said no passes other than the MVMCP pass would go through!! Then we just ambled around. Did some rides then went to LTT for dinner.

That is great news. My son really likes Donald and we have not seen him on our last few visits. One more reason that we can't wait to get there - 10 more days!

Last minute (right now!!) my wife and I decided to make a final, pre-baby, trip to Disney before she gets to big to waddle around the parks. We are going up the 17th and need a tickets to MVMCP. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a hold of one other than eBay (I am not going to pay up $300 for a pair if tickets...that's insanity)? No idea would be too far fetched...we really want to be there so any help would be great! Thanks!

Hey yall! I know this question has been covered numerous times in this thread, but many refer to last year's MVMCP. So just to clarify, can we enter the park after 4 oclock with JUST a MVMCP pass? And also, what time can we wander the park until before they put everyone in tomorrowland?? Thanks so much!!!

Yes, we just did so on December 2nd. We did not use any other ticket, just our MVMCP ticket for the evening!

I am with you! I am putting the "fianl" touches on my plans for our trip (we leave in just a few days - YIKES!!) and I would LOVE to get my hands on the schedule for MVMCP!!

I just sent you an e-mail from this site. I have a copy of the MVMCP brochure that I have been faxing and e-mailing to people all over -- they have all told me that it really has helped in making their plans. I will be happy to do the same for you and anyone else.

I am still learning this system so I still have to do things "the old fashioned way". I can fax it to you at the number you give me, or if you send me your e-mail address, I can send a copy of it to you that another Disney lover put in e-mail form.

I'm only hours away from our Disney trip and most of the threads on the first page are from people who were disappointed in everything Christmas at Disney World. Lots of complaints about crowds, downsizing of Osborne Lights and MVMCP not being worth the money. Our last December trip was 8 years ago, so I'm not going to be doing a lot of comparing. And I won't let the comments influence my trip. We'll be at the party on Sunday night, I can't wait.

You go and have a magical and wonderful time, my friend! I just got back in November and had a nice time. My challenges were that I planned so much I was almost on an itinerary schedule, and I lost my mobile telephone the last day I was there.

But you know, I was sitting at the MVMCP, cranky about my lost phone when a lady in a wheelchair rode by. I thought to myself, "Debbie -- you little whiner"! Here I was whining about a lost phone when that lady may never walk again. It sure put my priorities in order fast! God does work in mysterious ways!

You go and have a marvelous time -- let all that pixie dust fall on you . . . and the snow on Main Street! This should be a great time to be had by all!

My family and I will be at MVMCP on Sunday as well. This will be our first time ever so I'm going to enjoy it for all it's worth. The only problem I foresee is that it is suppose to be very chilly that night getting down to low 40's so be sure to pack some warm clothes! It also seems that Saturday through at least tuesday highs will be mostly in 60's....I was hoping for 80's to cure my midwest winter blues but oh well Hey maybe with temps in the low 40's it really WILL snow on main street hehe!

Aggie, thanks. I'm going to enjoy Disney with an open mind and an open heart. I'll be surrounded by family, what else could I wish for.

3halls, I think the cooler weather will make it seem more Christmasy. Our temps got close to 50 degrees yesterday and I was ready to ditch my coat. I did pack for everything though. I've got a pair of shorts along with a scarf, mittens and a winter jacket. I was just worried about rain, but it looks like we'll have clear skies after tomorrow.

Would some of you experienced and well studied pros offer your ideas... what would you do in the pre-party time frame... we are planning to arrive at 4pm.

Are rides/shows are closed during the party that you would try to get into?

Or are some lines shorter than they will be during the party?

We are not planning to eat... just snack and see and do as much as possible.

Also, is Donald's tree lot open during the party only or is it open all day.

Hi, our 5 went to MVMCP 12/2 for the first time, and found the party so good we stayed an extra night in AKL to see it on 12/5,, GO for the shows, parade and fireworks,, and GREAT TIME,, not for the short lines?? Enjoy the Holiday festivities and it will be worth every penny, you can enter at 4-5 PM w/ MVMCP ticket ( we got in at 4:45) & on 12/5 saw everything almost twice that night,, work your way around the back of the park and plan your Main Street activities accordingly-- 12/5 straight to Twas the NIght before x mas, then Celebrate the season, then parade, fireworks, hoilday hop at ariels garden, then 2nd parade, and 2nd celebrate the season at 12:00 AM.......... Enjoy it / forget the rides--- Fast pass can make that work for you on a different day,,,,,,,,,
