Thanks disneyaggie- we like to sit on the curb for the parades for my kids- usually get interaction from the characters. Has anyone tried sitting on the Main Street curb this year? How long did you wait?
I can't wait- this sounds like it is going to be so much fun! Were there many characters out around the parks?

Hi Tink2!

Sitting by the curb would be a great idea. I would venture to guess you might have to get your spot early, like around 45 minutes early. The parade starts by the City Hall area if that helps any. And yes, characters were EVERYWHERE! I saw them everywhere I turned. And it seemed that the lines to get your pictures with them were not long at all! I got into EPCOT when it opened and the characters were near Mouse Gear for pictures. I waited just a few moments to get my picture taken with Mickey and then another few moments with Minnie. It was great!

Every park, especially MK and EPCOT seemed to have a lot of characters. You should have no challenge getting pictures with them. I am so excited for you! It really is worth the trip! Let me know how much fun you had.

Oh, and one suggestion: PLEASE MARK YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITH YOUR NAME. Guess who lost her cell phone the very last day she was there (yep, me!). And no, it has not been turned in yet. I guess my name being on it would not have made that big of difference though. Those at the Lost and Found said it could still turn up. I went ahead and cancelled the service and bought another one when I got home. What a pain in the fanny! Oh well, I still have so much to be grateful for.

I just stumbled across this website and it shows which exclusive MVMCP pin will be available for each party.

I was hoping for Tink, but looks like we'll have Chip & Dale. It does mention that any leftover pins from previous nights will be sold at the Exposition Hall during party hours only. A limit of 2 pins per style is enforced.

Few questions for those of you who have been this year:

1. I saw from some pictures taken in the past that they used to have Cinderella's Carriage set up behind the castle in Fantasyland. Did they do this at the party this year?

2. At MNSSHP, Snow White and all 7 dwarf's were available for a group picture. Is that the case at MVMCP? Also what other different or rare characters do you remember seeing out for pictures?

3. What shows did you see and were they hard to get a seat for?

4. Are they giving out 1 picture per group or per ticket? Can you do multiple poses if you have a group? I was thinking of one with my 2 kids and then one with all four of us but was unsure if they would let us do that.

Any info you have would be great.

Thanks for the info disneyaggie- I am so excited!!! Only one more work day after today until my trip! I finally think I have everything ready to leave here at work- I'm a second grade teacher and leaving good plans for a substitute for a week is a chore! But- it will be worth it. The trip will be great and my kids will have a good week at school! Anyway, I'll post after we get back on the 11th. MVMCP- her we come!

1) I have a MVMCP flyer that I would be happy to fax.
2) Regarding the photos, I believe that each person who has an armband gets a picture. So if you have a family of 4, 4 prints are made of the same picture. I believe this is what I understood from someone who worked the lines.
3) To the best of my knowledge, I remember seeing almost, if not all of the Disney characters in the Christmas parade.

SENECABEACH- Thanks for the reply! I am afraid I have run out of time and I am soooo bummed. ( I need to be somewhere else that night.) I tried again today several times and each time I had to hang up after waiting half an hour each time. I did leave a message hoping my panic call might result in a return phone call. I also sent e-mail but I have not received an answer.

I did reach someone at another number for Disney, and they told me it could not be done.

I might try to give it one more shot when I get there, but I am about to give up hope.

We'll be there on Dec 14th, with a PS at LTT for 5:45. Can't wait. This will be our first trip during the Xmas season.

People have said that you can get in at 4 the day of the party with just your party ticket. They suggest you make dinner res for @5:50 because when they close the park to every one else, they herd we 'wristbanders' into Tomorrowland from 6 untl the park clears.....but if you're eating, you can just stay in the restaurant.

That is exactly what we did for the halloween party. Dinner at Tony's at 5:15 actually and by the time we were done, we were off and running towards the rides for a bit before the party started. It was great because we were there to see them lower the flag (something that everyone should see once) and got to watch as the decorations for the party were put in place (the Christmas decorations are already up - but for halloween, they do all sorts of things between 5 and 7)

OOps - one other thing. Since the park closed early that day, Tony's was serving their "lunch" menu. So we got a fantastic meal at for dinner at lunch prices

I am in great need of 2 more tickets for MVMCP on 12/10. I know we are not supposed to ask here but I am desperate, family is coming in town that night and I already bought two tickets for my wife and I. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. The sooner the better. Thanks.

Boy that price will be steep. Hopefully, most people opt for the Park Hopper Passes and then use them forever....I still have a couple left that come out to $10 a day...gee, wish I had bought 100s of them!!!!

Bad thing is from what I read is that Park Hopper will only be good for 14 days after purchase date...But of course old tickets will be honored..
Not sure if I'm liking there new plans or not..
