I have a quick question. I made a PS for the LTT for before MVMCP and at the time was going to be staying at the Poly. But now we changed to the GF, should I call the dining number and tell them or is that not necessary?

Yesterday I was going to call the dining number just to make sure and accidently called the room reservations number! I was so embarrassed, I think the lady thought I was crazy and she had no clue what I was talking about! I felt really stupid. Sorry for my ramble. I never got around to actually calling the dining number, so do I need to or no?

Nope, no need to call and let them know you changed resorts.

Oops! I posted this in the wrong thread! Does anyone know how I can get rid of this post from the theme parks thread?

Does anyone go to MK during the day of the parade? If not, what do you usually do? Since we are able to get into MK at 4:00pm, it doesn't seem to make sense to use a full day on the park hopper tickets for another park. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks!

Does anyone wait to buy their tickets when you get there? Not at the park, but at your resort? I thought of waiting just to be sure of weather and also, this is the day we will be arriving after a long day of driving and I would hate to have purchased the tickets beforehand and the kids be way to tired to enjoy the party on that night. I would hate for it to sell out. Do you know if they normally do sell out? We are looking at Nov. 30th.

That is the day we are going....I have a thread going for that day (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=559520) if you decide to go sign up on the thread, we are going to do a buzz lightyear meet.

Im not sure what days sell out, I have always bought tickets in advance, but I know you can buy them at the resorts and alot of people do.

Last year, we went to the last party of the season, and it was sold out in advance. It was also a Friday party, which I hear weekend parties are more popular anyway due to locals.

Ok, first, let me say that I can't plan a definate trip until late Oct or early Nov. (DS is due to be born around then) But I want to think about a MVMCP only trip for a night. It will be the end of my maternity leave and DH & I could take DD2 to show her that we haven't forgotten her. We would only have a 5 hour (or less) drive and would leave brand new DS with grandmother for the night.
OK, now for my questions:
The website says that the gate price for tickets is the same as if purchased early. Is that not right?

What nights are least crowded/Least likely to sell out?

Can you purchase tickets at a resort if you aren't staying at a resort?

Is there any chance that I will be able to get a PS with only a month to go?

We have gone to MVMCP before, but we just bought tickets at the gate.

The least nights should be during the week.

I don't know about purchashing tickets at a resort if your not staying there. Probably at the MK gate.

PS with a month to go. Shouldn't be a problem.. But try and book it 90 days ahead. Just to be on the safe side.

Silly question, but is the baby swap still permissable during MVMCP? Can't think of why it wouldn't be, but just want to make sure :) . Thanks, Karen

Stupid question-

Do people dress in their christmas attire??? We are thinking of going this year, and I am just curious if they do.

Just got tickets for November 28! It is our first time.
I'm keeping it as a surprise for my DH and DS7.

Can anyone tell me about getting PS's at LTT -- like why it seems to be a popular thing to do? Does it really "add" to the experience, or is it just a good way to get dinner and kill time until 7pm?

Thanks!

I think the main reason is the excitement that it can be booked so early. I prefer CP myself.

You can also book the Castle and Tony's as well.

One of the reasons for the LTT is because at about 5 or 6 pm they close the park. Those who have tickets for party for that night can enter about 4:00 pm. Then they put everyone in Tomorrow Land and or Fantasy Land and wait for the crowd to clear. Then you are given your wrist band. What some of us are doing is booking the PS at LTT because that way we don't have to leave the park and can have dinner before the party starts. Just a way of not having to be all in one place with everyone else.

Thanks for the feedback! I think it will be a good way to keep my DH busy so he won't feel like he has to wait. Ha! My DS7 is WAY better at living in the moment!

Well, there are other restaurants open too to choose from; The Castle, Tony's and Crystal Palace.

I think all the LTT talk is because it was the ONLY restaurant booking from May 1 when the tickets went on sale.

I prefer CP at Christmas time myself.

They close the park from 6:00 to 7:00.

Once again we have PS at 5:45 this year at LTT, on the 30th. I do love CP but LTT allows us to eat, get over to the Hall of Pres. and do our holiday picture quickly. I think we had the photo done before the party actually started last year. Of cours, that doesn't explain why they had run out of the party buttons!! DD and I had to share one. WE got the last one at that station. Wonder what happened.

Ok since we to have PS at LTT, where do we go from there to get our picture? Would we have to wait until 7 when the party actually stated or can we get it before?
