Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party 2006

:confused3 Ok so here's the deal. We are going to be at Disney for a short get-a-way that was meant to be a quick one since we just went to Disney a few months ago. We will be arriving on November 17th around 10-11 a.m. I was planning on taking the kids to hotel and taking a nap since we will have been up since about 5 a.m., then heading to Epcot since that is there late night magical hours. We planned on doing MK on the 19th since that is their late hours. The problem is, MVMCP is only the day we get in. So, should I buy tickets and only spend minimal time at Epcot and rush around? Or, since we are only going to be there a few days, should I reserve the party for another time? Im just wondering How spectacular it is. Is it worth skipping Epcot all together since we want a full day on the 19th at MK? Confused on how awesome this party really is? What would you do???

This will be my first year attending MVMCP and I couldn't be anymore excited! :teeth: I absolutely love Christmas and what better way to get into the holiday spirit then going to Disney World. I'm just hoping I can get my boyfriend into the holiday spirit too :rotfl: :rotfl2: Maybe Mickey and Disney will help a bit? *crosses fingers*

Depending on mine and my boyfriend's school schedule, we will be going either December 14th or 15th.

I hope everyone enjoys their time at Disney and MVMCP this year :goodvibes:

We take the day of the party to sleep in and relax significantly before heading to MK around 4 pm. Makes a HUGE difference for us.

Will they let us in at 4pm on the party ticket, like they do at MNSCHP?

I'll be there with my daughter and sister in law on November 30th! I may have posted in here already, but dang, I'm so excited, I just had to post twice!

They did last year. We got in about 4:15. Two very nice grandmotherly ladies were waiting at the gate with the necessary bracelets. ENJOY! :sunny:

We'll also be there on November 30th and I'm sure I've already posted in this thread already too but I just can't wait!!! :santa:

We will be there 12/21!! We plan on arriving at our hotel that day, checking in, grabbing a late lunch/lite dinner and heading on over to the party. Hopefully my family will last until the party ends...but with early breakfast reservations for the next day we might not make it until midnight. All I know is that I'm anxiously counting down the days!!

I'm sorry if this has been posted and answered before, but where can I get a listing of the scheduled times for the various shows? Does it vary by certain days or is the schedule the same every night of the party? Going on 12/8 for the first time!! :sunny:

First time going to Disney during the holiday season. We are very excited! We'll be at MVMCP on November 30. :thumbsup2

Wish I had a better answer as I have never done the Party before. This will be my first time. I can say that if you have done Epcot before than go for it and do the party. It will get you into the holiday spirit. :jumping2: I mean there is not much to do at Epcot, right so rushing around could be possible??

Do you have park hoppers? If so, go to EPCOT when you arrive and then head over to MK for the party. I am going to my second party this year. We loved it but thought there was so much to do. It was my first party and I did not plan well. This time will be better. The shows, parade and fireworks are great. You also have access to the rides. Because you have already been to both EPCOT and the MK I would then split my second day between the two as well. The monorail ride from EPCOT to MK is a nice break in the day as well.

Also, I think there is so much to do at EPCOT. I spend 1 to 1 1/2 days at EPCOT every trip and I still have not seen or done it all.

I have the schedule for MVMCP, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to fit all these things in! I need a strategy!

The parade is at 8:25 and 10:45
Fireworks at 9:30
T'was is 7, 8,9,10:15 and 11:15
Celebrate The Season at 7:45, 10:15 and 11:15.

So, here's what I'm thinking. Hit Celebrate the Season at 7:45, hang around the Castle area for parade at 8:25, maybe ride a few rides and be back near Tomorrowland for fireworks at 9:30. From there, catch the 10:15 showing of T'was. Does that sound like a feasible plan. I gotta fit a Santa visit in there somewhere too... Sheesh!

Just remember that everyone with younger kids is going to do the same schedule! I agree, I think it is the best schedule for you. Get to Celebrate the Season early.

We'll be going to the Dec. 8th Party! It will be our first time, can't wait!

Can someone tell me where I can get a schedule??

I am going 12/22 Thanks.
