????? Mickey's toontown morning madness

We just arranged for tickets for MTTMM, (thank's jensmom) My daughter, 5 and 1/2, wants to know what happens at MTTMM????? I have assured her it will be fun, but she wants more specifics.

All rides and attractions are open then. Pluto, Daisy, Donald, Goofy are all out ready to give autographys. About Half hour into it, they have a mini parade of the characters to city hall in toontown (is it called city hall?) where a family is proclaimed the family of the day in a ceremony and toontown morning pins are handed out. I'm not sure if Minnie & Mickey are at their home before this, but we headed to their houses after the parade for autographs and picture. We left dh to grab a couple of pins for us at city hall? But there was no need. the castmembers walked around after the ceremony making sure everyone had a pin (even us while we were waiting in line for Mickey). It's a great way to see these characters without having to wait for a super long line and having to track them down. We hadn't even seen Donald and Daisy up until that point in Toontown madness. She'll have a great time.

How do you get tickets for Toontown Madness? We are heading there in March and have not even heard of this? Is it for people staying on site only?

I don't believe it's for packages staying onsite only. I think it's for any packages booked via WDTC or aaa.

This sounds like something my kids would love, I just booked through Getawaytoday, does anyone know if they book through WDTC? Or how can I find out?
