I sure hope so. If the walls are as thin as people say we'll all be hearing Boom, Boom, Pow!

Just letting everyone know that I have changed my pre-cruise hotel arrangements again

On a hunch, I checked out my time share in Celebration, FL and they gave me a rate of $102.50 per night for a two bed room that sleeps up to eight people

I will just have to get up earlier on the morning of the cruise and drive over to PC.

Just thought I would say hello to all and GAME ON Michelle thats if you have any game. Looking forward to the cruise and our stay with the Farkal's in WDW.
I heard they raised the bed height on the Dream so Michelle could get 2 rows of shoes under it.

Hey Everyone,

It's worth the extra drive to have more space! I am still scouting out deals for a kids suite or perhaps 2 rooms so we don't kill each other before the cruise! 5 people in one hotel room is not fun

I was thinking about you during the Super Bowl when the Black Eyed Peas played. Gimme that Boom, Boom, Pow.

I'm very excited about OUR stay at WDW. By the way you owe me money! Cash or money order, no rubbers (checks that is).

I'm glad all those DCL surveys I did as a GOLD member finally paid off and DCL listened, raising the bed platform. You have to have a good solid base if you want to roll with me.

Hey All!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I see some new posting on our thread. Interesting since we're such a small group of friends. Another thread has been started for our cruise. Makes you wonder...

I made our ADR's for pre cruise! Our 180 day mark was Sunday! I can not wait.

We booked our airfare SWA $973. I thought it was a good deal from Albany!

Now to find that mysterious new thread and why it was started?!

OK, well since I see you found our thread....

Anyway, we are a group of 7-8 families, and possibly a couple more who were all on 2009 Thanksgiving Magic....and we have cruised w/several of the other families multiple times, usually on Thanksgiving week....hence the thread name as we have been generally known as the Turkey Day Gang in one incarnation or another...

We separated off really for easier communications and so as not to impose on what is clearly an established group...that said, those on our thread are all experienced cruisers and we did not wish to appear to try and take over the existing thread...

However, it is interesting to see that there is actually a third thread out there..we had not noticed this one as it is fairly well hidden by title...

We are a small but mighty group! Makes you wonder if there are more threads going on in addition to ours! I am the novice cruiser in the group...so I love getting ideas from everyone to get the most out of my trip. look forward to meeting you!

Happy Valentine's Day!

DW has a new plan to drive straight through going down This is a 16 hour trip DD 18 just got her permit. She will have to take a lot of driving lessons before I let her behind the wheel in order to help out

Our longest straight through drive has been Chicago in 14 hours. We will definitely stop over night on the way back

I am posting this on all 3 threads that are going on for our cruise because it seems like there are people on all of them who access the website I created for the cruise group. I just want to be upfront about everything and have it out there for everyone to see.

To those of you who are on this thread who haven't accessed the website yet, I am sorry to involve you or confuse you.

Here is what I posted on the August 16th Cruise Thread:

I will say to the whole group that I am a bit uncomfortable being in charge of our website at this point. It has nothing to do with the work. It is more to do with the fact that with all the separate threads, I feel conflicted. I have read through all of the other threads that are running. I will admit that in one of the threads, I do feel that there are offensive comments made.

I really am not sure what to do about the website at this point. In some ways I feel it should be open to everyone and in other ways, I feel like I don't feel like maintaining a site where some people feel that some of us on this thread have "sappy, sticky, sweet fakeness".

I am just being honest about it all and hope that no one is offended by that. I have always loved being a part of a group that plans a wonderful vacation together and I am just a bit baffled by how to be the keeper of the website when we have all of this going on.

That being said....I feel totally fortunate to have made such wonderful friends from our past cruise that are here with me again. I feel lucky to have "met" so many new wonderful people. I hope that this just resolves itself but for now...the website is going to sit "as is" for a couple of weeks (I am going to Disney and won't be around anyways).

I will be leaving on Tuesday for an incredible WDW vacation with Jude's family and will run the Princess Half on the 27th.
