Mickey's PhilharMagic

Op, you just described our feelings exactly for Mickey's Philharmagic! I try to tell people about it, but just can't do it justice. Much like trying to describe La Nuba when people aren't at all familiar with Cirque. Thanks for the trip down memory lane to the first feelings we had watching Philharmagic!

Another Philharmagic lover here. About 2yrs ago, I was surveyed about it and made it clear that we really enjoyed the attraction and would be sad to see it replaced.

We have this on our "must see" list, because it's something that is not at DL. So excited to hear how wonderful it is! Can't wait until we experience it for ourselves!

My favorite 3D in the World! It's also one of the few things my DGD remembers seeing last time because she was so young.

We're arriving Monday around noon so not getting to the parks at RD as our usual. I've got CRT dinner booked that evening. Since we're going in late, plus Memorial Day,, I've told my DGD that we probably won't get to ride much due to lines, but I'm hoping we'll at least get to see Mickey's Philharmagic! It'll be a wonderful way to start our trip!

Thanks for posting OP!

One of my favorites. We go at least 3 times each trip. Our entire family loves it. Very Disney-ish!

Philharmagic is one of my top 3 attractions and is the best 3D (4D?) attraction in WDW (as others have said). If you grew up in the 90s, as I did, it has all of your favs -- Little Mermaid, Lion King, Alaadin, Beauty and Beast, etc. I can't imagine a trip to WDW without it!

I love it! It's one of the few attractions we did more than once on the last trip. The champagne corks in "Be Our Guest" are my favorite effect in any of the "4D" movies!

I completely agree, and I just mentioned this last night. It is my favorite 4D show and something we have to do every time we are in MK. Even my DH who could take a show or leave it, has to see it every time we are there. I always find myself singing along to all of the songs and it always puts a huge grin on my face.

I love Mickey's PhilharMagic. It is probably my most favorite attraction in all of wdw. I can't explain it, but I just love it. I love that I have never waited in a long line for it, it is a great escape from the heat, and the show is out of this world!

Now Philharmagic is one of our favorite MK experiences. But during our first trip with our DDs when they were 3, they were both terrified. They were thrilled at first and kept trying to grab things out of the air...it was really cute. But then it got loud and they both got frightened. We couldn't get them to even consider going back in for the rest of the trip.

We love Mickey's Philharmagic. We don't have anything like it at Disneyland. People always ask which is better, DL or WDW. My response is always that each has it's unique flavor and like the fact that everything isn't exactly the same. We look forward to Philharmagic every trip!

Hey everyone - New here! I have always walked past this "attraction" because #1 I didn't know what it was and #2 the lines were always so long! This trip, we will def. be there! Guess we will have to run as fast as we can so as we don't have to long of a wait!!!

Love, love, love Philharmagic. Not only do DH and I love it so do DD7 and DS5.

Actually Philharmagic is known to have short waits....I've NEVER waited for this show and even if there was any wait the line is inside the building...perhaps you were seeing the line to get FP for Winnie the Pooh? That's right outside the Philharmagic building...

Anyway, this is one of our favorites as well. I think the Lion King scene is my favorite. :thumbsup2 It's definitely my father's favorite! After we had already seen it once, we decided to do it again during Evening EMH...at the very last part he screamed to the audience, "EVERYONE LOOK BEHIND YOU! IT'S SO COOL!!!!" And pretty much the whole audience turned their heads at the same time and started laughing. It was a great moment. I don't know how many people in the audience already knew about it but it seemed like a lot didn't... definitely the best part of the show.

On our first trip to WDW, during the floods and torrential rains of May '09, we ducked into Mickey's Philharmagic to get out of the rain, and were blown away.

Right after this, all those 3-D movies came out in the theaters and I had no interest in seeing them after experiencing the best in the Magic Kingdom.:3dglasses

The lines may look long but the theater holds a fair number of guests, and the movie is only about 10-15 minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait long even if the queue is full. We have to see it at least twice a day, DDs love it!

Haven't read the whole thread, bu this is one of our "must -do" attractions. As a matter of fact, while we're giving our daughters the freedom of the parks with the tether of cell phones and check-in times, we told them that this is one of the attractions we will go on together as a family

Definitely one of my top 5 attractions ! I love this show sooo much and I don't have any kids.

After just a few hours at WDW, visiting some of our favorite attractions and dining at our favorite destinations, I "feel" like it's a great vacation. However, only when we first visit Mickey's Philharmagic, do I get that goofy smile and sense that "we're finally here."
