thanks for the welcome! If anyone that will be letting us do the FE will tell me so I can know how many to bring. I understand for those who won't let us join but anyone that will I wold really appreciate it! My kids will be so excited!

I have seen mention of KTTY cards. What does that mean?

Also, our stateroom is 6510 for the FE stuff!

My husband's bday is on 9/12 also!!

Sounds like there are a few 10-11 yr olds on board. It would be cool if we could get them together somehow!

One more thing- I read on the Disney site that there is either a tropical party or pirate party on board. Is there any way to know for sure what kind of clothing to bring?

It will be a Pirate party. They used to do a tropical party, but since the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise took off, it has been replaced by the Pirate party.
I am keeping a fish extenders list of sorts and as I was asked to put my details on as well, I assume that some of the others might be using this for their own reference. So can I ask what the favourite Disney character is for each member of your party, the names of everybody and the favourite colour of any females in your party. I just got a new printer today and will finish off the list over the weekend and print it off.

Corinna, if you still need our info it is me, Dawn, Carleen (my mom who is bubbling over w/excitment as we speak. She was squeeling today that it is so close), John (mom's boyfriend), Christopher (b-day boy turning 10), and Chase (4). I'm so excited for you leaving so soon. It sounds like you are going to have a great time at WDW. Can't wait to hear all about it when we catch up w/ you at the Radisson.

So in two week at this time we will in good ol Florida soaking up the sun before our cruise. I am sooo excited. I saw so much talk about the passporter that i went and got one yesterday at Barnes and Noble. That book is awesome!!! I am thinking about going to get the WDW one for that leg of our trip as well. There are sooo many good tips in there. I am glad I got it.

I am also starting to pack, I need to hit the dollar store yet for Cody's dinner time entertainment, but that can wait a little bit I guess.

I have read about people taking bottles of water and juice boxes along with snacks for their stateroom, anyone doing this? How are you getting it on board? I have an extra duffle bag that I was thinking about putting this stuff in and since it will mostly be consumed on the cruise I figure the duffle would be a good place to take home souveniers. Any thoughts?

We also realized by reading the passporter that we recieved and upgrade in our room, I was sooooo excited. We booked for a cat 12 and have a cat9 room!! It's not one of the more favorable rooms because of it's location but I am excited about having a window which I was sure we wouldn't have!

Well off to do some more reasearch for our trip. We are trying to plan out our nassau day. We didn't book any excursions and are thinking about taking the ferry over and just walking around atlantis on our own. I just want to see the place, don't care much about swimming there since we will be in the water the whole next day at Castaway Cay!

I have a room booked at the Comfort Suites to gain access to Atlantis. This is soooo much cheaper than doing the trip through Disney. If you have any questions about it let me know. For the Pirate party bring pirate clothes. I don't know about the shorter DCL cruises but, on the magic people do dress up-adults too. It's lots of fun.

KTTW cards are your "key to the world" cards. they are your stateroom key, room charge, and ship id all in one.

As Corinna said, it is a Pirate party now so bring pirate gear.

We are not doing any excursions on Nassau.

It looks like Milar and family will be number 10 involved in FE, am I correct? If that is correct then I can add them to my list. I understand that it is hard to add someone two weeks before our trip ( I am seriously on a tight budget) but I also hate to not include someone that really wants to participate. Milar, I don't think there is anyone here that does not want to include you I think it is just more of being so close to the trip it is hard to get stuff together so quickly. One of our group is already in WDW , and others are hand making some of their gifts and now just are in a rush for time. I find it exciting that you want to participate but I'm sure your going to have your hands full too running around at the last minute! No worries though, I'm sure everyone here will try to include you in there own way...even if it is just a hug and glad your sailing with us!

This is my first cruise but, like Patricia, I have read and read and researched and read since last December so if you have any other questions someone here is bound to know the answer!

Just wanted to wish you and Hubby a safe journey here......I know you have a long way to go!!

I am excited too.......we are leaving for Disney on the 4th which means we are almost in single digits for the countdown!!! Our first crusie we did a chainlink countdown, but nothing this time.....BUT, still we are VERY excited, me probably more than the kids!

I took my boys, along with my mom, to KiddieLand on Thursday........they had a blast! It's a very small, old amusement park for LITTLE kids in Melrose Park, Illinois......My little one Korey had a blast, the rides were the perfect size for him, and my 4 year old Josh almost seemed to big for some of the rides......all in all, we had a fabulous day and just made me think how much fun we are going to have in about 2 weeks.......Josh is even saying he will try Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Test Track this trip! He was on all 3 once when he was 3, but we haven't been able to get him on since......(I think we scarred him that trip!)(BAD mommy and daddy dragging a 3yo on all those rides )

Mary, I apologize if it came out that way. I certainly never meant to make you look like a bad guy. I was actually trying to explain without making anyone look like a bad guy because I know how great the people are here (including you). I guess I didn't do a very good job.

Karen, your boys are SO cute! I know what you mean about the rides. My oldest son, I scared going on big thunder mountain when he was about 5 and at 6 I scared him going on Dinosaur. However, his little brother got mad at me when I would not let him ride Everest (he is still to little) and he LOVED dinosaur. Now his big brother tries more adventerous rides because he does not want to be shown up by his little brother.

Mom2Cody, We are bringing our own 12pack of water on board. My mom has a tendency to get very dehydrated and it isn't pretty when she does. I have read of people just attaching their luggage tags right to the package so that is probably what I'll do if I can't fit it in the luggage. I am w/ you in the excitment department!

Tomorrow I will really print the labels and sort the FE gifts. I am still missing one that was ordered at the beginning of the month and I start to get more than a little concerned that it won't get here in time.

I realised that I have spare supplies to cover at least some of your family (yourself, Cory and Ashlyn), but Kolby and Kyla are proving more of a challenge. I have thought up a plan B. Do Kolby and Kyla wear Crocs at all? Unfortunately due to the time frame involved, I am unable to put something in your fish extender every day as I will do with the others, but I want to do something at least on one day.

Our thread is so long and others have joined very recently and it's just not possible to go through over 1500 posts. It was brought up at one point about having a cut off date, but I don't really remember what was decided. I think if there are some that are able to (as I said I could still add Tanae (Miller1600) to my list) add them to their list that is fine. If other can't thats ok too. I dont' think any one will be offended either way. There is no bad guy if you if you can or cannot add an extra person and I don't think Tanae will be offended if only a few of us can exchange with her. I purposely picked up a few extra kids things and am still making my gifts, so it's easier for me to add someone.
