Okay, I think I know who my favorite Disney character is. Roz from Monsters Inc. Or maybe, Dori from Finding Nemo. I never really thought about it to tell you the truth. I'm easy to please, just no princesses.

Monica, you are too funny... no princesses???? Really that's ok. I don't think of me as the princesses one either. pooh's always been my fav, but i really like tinkerbell now also. (I'm shaped like pooh, but want to be shaped like tink, lol )

Patricia, you are WAY to funny! In my minds eye I am shaped like Tink, does that count? Or as pooh sings "I am short fat and proud of that". hehe.

Tony, thanks for your suggestions! I had thought about the dolphin encounter awhile back but then I read you don't get back until 5pm which can interfere w/ early dining seating. I figured if dinner was at 515 that wouldn't work so well. I am also on a serious budget and can only afford one excursion and so I decided to do the ecotour at CC. I found out from my mom that Christopher thought the wave runners looked really fun so hopefully he would like that (and CC day is his actual birthday so thought it might be fun to do something special that day).

SO, we will see if I make it out of the country THIS time. Murphy's law seems to be striking as hurricane Dolly is make its way towards Texas (where I am flying out of) so we will see. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Christopher saw a shooting star last night. I asked him what he wished for. He said he couldn't tell me because it wouldn't come true. I asked if he wished to go on the Disney cruise ship. I could tell by the grin on his face that that was exactly what he wished for. Oh, I can't wait to break this surprise to him!

I got myself a class A sunburn today. Graham is teasing me that I am practising for the cruises. So far we did not have any summer to speak of and the weather forecast for today was not promising either. I won a pair of tickets for the cricket test match between England and South Africa at work. I love cricket so Graham and I went for the day. Today was meant to be day 4 out of 5, but unfortunately England lost and the game was finished this evening. We still had great fun. We had great seats and the sun was beating down on us all day. Of course, after I saw the weather forecast, I did not take any sunscreen. Big mistake! I am the colour of a lobster right now.

3 things to help w/ sunburn....aloe, vinegar, and Nestea - empty a large jar into your bath water. Personally, I hate using vinegar....makes me smell like a salad. Hope you heal soon!

Tony- Hi, We are from the burbs of Chicago, we just moved to Shorewood in December (just west of Joliet) We are flying out of Midway on 9/4 and staying at Pop Century till we leave for the cruise on Sunday!


Corrina- My favorite characters are Ariel and Mickey, my hubby likes Goofy, Josh (4) likes Chip and Dale, and Korey (will be 2) likes Mickey! Thanks for asking!!!!


Dawn- I hope you make your flight to Amsterdam......please post pictures if you do!

It's getting closer and closer and closer.......I just paid the pre-disney cruise stays for my traveling party today!

The Fish Extender looks great! I am so excited!!

We only have 28 days until we leave for WDW today We're both really excited and can't believe it has come around so soon!

We've also found a home we really like, and are now just going through the referencing checks for it, so I really hope we get it! If we do, we'll be moving in Sept 15th

I think your FE looks great. I already put it with ALL my cruise stuff so that there is NO WAY I can forget it. Congrats on finding a home you like. Hope all goes well. I am very jealous that in 28 days' you will be heading to Disney while some of us have a LOT more days to wait!!!!

Yeah, I am flying out a day sooner. SO instead of flying out Friday, staying Saturday, and flying back Sunday we will fly out Thursday, stay Friday, and fly back Saturday. Then I will have one whole day to do laundry and sleep.

you are flying out on Thursday-which would get you there on Friday--then you are flying home the next day? Forget the laundry. You will have some serious jet lag. Drink some red bulls on the flight! Oh and take pics.

Fenway park in Boston. My first Red Sox game. DH bought me the tickets last Christmas. It's the Sox and the Yankees. You can take the girl out of Boston but you can't take the Boston out of the girl. Baseball is in the blood I guess.
