Mickey's Not So Scary Hallowen Party

Just booked for Halloween weekend 2004! We're thrilled but weren't able to get a sale date for the Not So Scary Halloween Party. Guest relations suggested checking the website every couple of weeks but I know that I often get more info from Disboards than the official site. If someone could give me an idea when tickets went on sale for 2003 I can narrow my search time. Thanks.

I think tickets went on sale in late April/early May last year.

I think the only day that sold out was Halloween night. It wasn't completely sold out until Aug or Sept I think. All the other nights in October did not sell out so tickets were available right to the day of the event.

One fun thing to do is book a Priority Seating at a restaurant at the MK before the party- like at 5:15 ish- that way you are done before the party and have the MK to yourself. Tomorrowland was open last year and the photo booth was open early so you could get your pic out of the way before all the other stuff started.

We had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern which is a character meal and all the characters were in their Halloween Costumes. Very fun. We finished dinner at 6:45 and just hung out in Liberty Tree Square and got on the first Riverboat ride with only about 20 others. Had Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox, a magician and a story teller all to ourselves.

When does the Halloween party run? All of October? Or only right near Halloween? I am thinking of October for the next trip, as DH wants to go when it is warm so we can swim everyday! I was thinking either the week before or after Columbus day (not the weekend!). Could we do this party?

We are also booked Halloween week!

Halloween is our anniversary, so we HAVE to get MNSSHP tickets for the 31st! We went last two trips 2000 and 2002...it was awesome!

Last year it ran on selected nights from Friday Oct 3 to Friday Oct 31.

You will LOVE the Halloween party. Absolutely love it. We have gone 2 years in a row and it is the highlight of the trip. Usually they hold it 2-3 times a week, so no doubt, you'll be able to get a date during your trip.

I hope you enjoy it !! If we were going again this year, I think we'd be planning our costumes already!

DD11 and I are going back for a second trip this year (Oct 15-21) while older DD16 must stay home for volleyball. We're hoping for a MNSSHP date while we're there.
