We are booked for MNSSH for the 20th Oct, and my 17 year old daughter wants to ask if there will be lots of adults dressing up for the occasion, as she does not want to be one of a few, and if so what costumes are you all wearing?

Lots of adults do dress up...we are going as dalmations...again, as we had great interaction with castmembers and characters....we even had kids shouting out to us and adults asking for our photos:rotfl2:

....go for it, it's so much fun getting into the spirit of things

Loads of people dress up of all ages. We are going to be dressing up this year for the first time. It will be our third party and we just think its about time we made more of an effort.:thumbsup2

Your daughter will not be out of place.

I always encourage people to dress up as it really does add a lot to the whole atmosphere.
We dressed up last time we went and if we are ever there at that time of year again we will do the same.
As has already been said the character interaction is much better with those that dress up - especially if you choose something that the Disney characters can associate with. For example we went as ghosts and looked like the ones that are in the Haunted Mansion so we got plenty of CMs trying to guide us back there, and some really cool looks and comments from the gravediggers in the parade. Also Sapper will tell you the interaction they had with Cruella when they dressed up as dalmations - it's all part of the fun and your daughter won't feel out of place at all :goodvibes
