Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween question

You can get into MK with party tix at 4 pm. Plan to be at the gate earlier than that so you can get right in and head to your favorite ride. CM's will be herding day tix holders out at 6 pm I believe, so you might want to catch a ride and then get a bite to eat and watch the stragglers leave. You are there as others are just coming in and should be able to do a few more rides and then pace yourselves so you enjoy the party atmosphere rather than running around trying to do all the rides. Enjoy!

Reviving this thread as it seems to confirm my wife's fear that 11/1 might not have a party forcing us to go on 10/31. I am reading mixed reviews regarding crowd size. My kids want candy so I plan to bring a Costco bag to avoid wasting time in lines for a snickers...

More than likely all the parties will sell out, so Halloween won't be anymore crowded than the others. Only issue is that Halloween may sell out quicker, so I would purchase when you are able rather than waiting.

I disagree, the term "sell out" is entirely different on different days. Last year we went on opening day and the next party day both were "sold out" but the crowd level on the first day was at least double the 2nd night. I'm not into conspiracy theories but there's no way both nights had the same tickets issued.

Well, we've never experienced noticeable difference between sold out events. I think it just depends on what the crowds (and yourself) are focused on at the parties. Some nights may be focused on candy/shows, etc., some nights may seem more character or ride focused.

FYI, candy lines move fast and did not take too much of our time at all. Tip, don't do them right when the party starts, the last few hours they move really fast and give huge scoops of candy!

One thing that can impact crowds on sold out nights is weather. If it's egregious enough to impact a party (like canceling parades or fireworks), Guest Services will issue raincheck tickets if people ask for them, even to parties otherwise sold out. Enough of those and you can see a bump at the next party after one of those washouts.
