I have two perspectives on this. One for me personally and selfishly, and one realistically.
For me, I would do it again every day if I could. The HalloWishes fireworks were better than Wishes, the Villains rock my socks, and I just loved seeing everyone in costume. It was executed beautifully and I think that this was my favorite part of my first trip. The parade was adorable and my two year old loved seeing her favorite characters at a comfortable distance.
Now, we did this on an EMH day and my kids were wiped out by the time the party started. My six year old slept through HalloWishes, the Villains Mix and Mingle and the Parade. My nine year old missed the parade. My two year old ONLY saw the Villains and the parade. We didn't bother with candy lines because we would have spent hours trying to get through the insane lines. We did NOT go on a busy night, either. Candy wasn't a priority, so I can't say I'm upset about that part.
Had we not gone to EMH, the kids would probably have had a good time. My husband seemed to have an okay time. He only listened to me go on about Maleficent for months on end, so I think the party was a relief for him especially when I was next in line to see her.
All in all, I would do it again though a little differently next time.
